I'm having so many feelings. First of all, you are 100% correct, and that fits the boys perfectly. And then the fact that you sent me this—that you read my stories and remembered them when you heard a song—makes my heart grow three sizes.

Thank you so much. I added it to my Ray/Walter playlist, and also the extremely ramshackle playlist I have for @topgunreacts Harbor series, because although the imagery in the song fits Ray so much better (it's perfect, really), the overall journey and vibes also remind me of her selkie Iceman.

So, I Blaze the doggies 2-3 times a year. (Although now that I get a free Blaze every month, look forward to more frequent 🔥🐕!) And I keep doing it because the response is so overwhelmingly positive. Hundreds of people leave comments or write in the tags about how happy it made them to see the boys, how it was a bright spot in their day. It's the same reason I love when people come up to us in the park and ask if they can pet my dogs; my dogs are awesome and they make me happy, and it makes me happy to share them.

But every time I do one of these Blazes, I do get a couple mean (always anonymous—big surprise there) comments about them. From the truly inspired

to this one that I googled and still don't entirely understand (nor do I want to, thanks):

Honestly, it doesn't upset me. It's just really sad that this is how these people choose to interact with the world. They're probably really unhappy in their lives if the only way they can feel good about themselves is by anonymously leaving hate mail for puppies.

How can you look at this little face and feel hate?
