Alan Rickman’s farewell letter to Harry Potter
Actor Daniel Radcliffe on the death of Alan Rickman.
The way he always talks about Alan makes me cry, you can tell they had such an incredible relationship.
Jo Rowling and some of the Harry Potter Cast react to the news of Alan Rickman’s passing.
I'm utterly heartbroken.
I like how the actors who play Hermione and Harry in the movies have the same opinions on Crookshanks’s appearance as their characters.
Is there a limit to how much a person can love Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe? Cause I haven’t found it yet.
Emma: The world’s biggest Romione shipper.
Is Ezra miller rly gonna be in fantastic beasts omg???
YEEESSSSS I’M SO FUCKING EXCITED.
And apparently he’s going to be the villain’s son? So like holy fucking shit we might have another Draco-type character in him and that thrills me to no end you have no idea.
I saw her make the decision in her eyes. I saw her think “I’m gonna really go for it” - David Yates
*SHOVES THIS AT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DON’T THINK EMMA IS A FANTASTIC ACTRESS*
okay so we got Fantastic beasts and where to find them movie promos. and as much as I love hp stuff, this just doesn’t speak to me. all I see is Eddie Redmayne, not Newt Scamander
I’m starting to think they should have cast an unknown actor, like they did with Dan for Harry. That way he’d become his role in the same way.
Im dying, I was on youtube and a like minute half ad came up and i was throwing a fit but it loaded and it was just daniel radcliffe and james mcavoy like staring right into the camera and looking over to the skip button on the youtube ad, and when you don't press skip you see the trailer for victor frankenstein but like having them just staring and speaking directly into the camera, definitely the most intense youtube ad i've seen yet
lol awesome! I’m quite excited to see them in a film together
Tom’s reaction to drarry manips.
I love Gary Oldman and David Thewlis obviously, but I don't know how I liked them in Harry Potter, when I was younger I didn't really think about how they didn't really match the description but now it's starting to really bother me, and then of course there's the age gap (which they had to do to keep alan rickman but still) I don't know, they're great actors but I don't know how much they look like their characters,
I mean the only thing that bothers me about them is the age gap. They’re not spot on with descriptions- but hardly anyone is. In the books, Neville is blonde, Petunia and Dudley are blonde, Vernon has dark hair, Ron is gangly, Harry is pretty skinny and has much wilder hair, Hermione has super bushy hair and big teeth- the list goes on and on. No one’s going to be exact.
But yeah, and the same goes for the actors who played James and Lily, all the Marauders were cast too old. It takes away from the tragedy of it all.
Anyways, it doesn’t really bother me- I’ve separated the books and the movies into two completely different boxes in my mind.
Tom Felton, Captain of the Drarry Ship
I’m sobbing I will never be over them or this
FRIENDLY REMINDER THAN JASON ISAACS ADDED THIS LINE WITHOUT TELLING DAN AND DAN ONE-UPPED HIM IN IMPROVISATION WITHOUT A SECOND’S THOUGHT AND JASON WAS FLOORED BECAUSE JESUS THIS IS A KID.
Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint on the day they met
LOOK AT HOW TINY AND WEE AND ADORABLE.
