Announcement Exclusive: I believe this is explanatory.
Excerpt from The Writings--part of TKWR Trilogy appendix where letters, sayings/proverbs, histories, poetry and prose are found.
Happy Free Agency Day to Me. I’m celebrating by working. I might eat something. Someone suggested I go verified account so people know I’m the writer of The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm. Okay. 😘
Something from the earliest days of The Kingdom of the Woodland Real Trilogy.
The Ultimate Sacrifice: The Final Chapter
I am actually wasting time on purpose right now. Twitter is quiet today as it should be. Even Scotland is talking about Hurricane Matthew. If people evacuated or found shelter all there is to worry about is material--knock on wood. I wanted that to be the only thing to think about today but I am afraid it is not. I just got another publisher message today. It is far different than the others, to a degree. They are not the first publisher that would offer an all inclusive package for Thranduil. But they are one of three major publishers that have asked about Thranduil.
Unfortunately, I have no one in my family to advise me on such things, but I am surrounded by five screenwriters, two Hollywood producers, a celebrity publicist, a celebrity editor and 3 major publishers all with authors on the NYT Best Seller’s List. The Mythopoeic Society waits to read my book, I have the interest of the society’s founding family and top off everything else, some in the Society want me take the ultimate journey of being read but the Tolkien Estate. That is quite a lot to think about on such short notice. That is a lot to think about alone, so excuse me if I seem out of it for a few days.
It is hard to believe that last year at this time, I was just starting out with excerpts here and there in no particular order. It wasn’t until a few readers suggested I put it in order. I did so, and now Book II: The Saga of Thranduil is done (the first draft anyway). The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy is now considered to be an epic fantasy (I call it epic fan fiction--works for me; it may be original but it was done for Tolkien as I was inspired by him). Book II in itself qualifies as an epic novel, but to be full on ‘high fantasy’ epic, it has to be a Trilogy, and it is. When completed, it will be officially christened as such. To make it to where some would like it to go, it will face the experts.*
Tumblr was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love EVERYONE.
No matter what happens, I will be having a party somewhere for all of you. You better show up. I’m not kidnapping Lee Pace, Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Bean, Graham McTavish, Tom Hiddleston (I like Loki), and Luke Evans for nothing. Can I have Daniel Radcliffe? I don’t know why. He’s my kind of weird. (Maybe for fun and pizza...wine..I don't know--let’s just rent a castle)....Screw it--all franchises invited...it’s a castle.
For now, I have to really think about all this stuff as I have the National Trust of Scotland mentioning me in Tweets..??? Really, it’s weird to have a country like this thing. Seriously, I’m not kidding. Scotland loves this thing for some reason. I think I owe Scott Kyle of Outlander a cookie or something. That cast has great people--I hope Graham got his car back from Sam in one piece.
*I can officially say they are waiting for it--some with a lot of anticipation and most with high expectation. (This thing better be good) @peonies-and-poppies, @fortunatelyclevercandy, @storytimeteller1, @leepacesweetfantasy, @lasimo74allmyworld, @elven-nicknacks, @littletesla, @elvesunderstarlight, @theothermegnolia, @gedebe, @elven-nicknacks, @earrinde-lancaeriel, @babschwi, @atheistbarbie, @wickedrum, @morticias-romance, @emitis17, @glendathegoodone, @bellevox, @becauseiamrealelf-deactivated20, @magicbunni, @chelidona, @mrseinsteingrooving. Just breathe.
Oh, NOW, my tagger wants to work..are you kidding me? I’ve been looking for half of you for weeks...is my Tumblr sick or something...needs some penicillin ..maybe it’s my tablet..it wipes everything away sometimes...hmmm..upgrade?
Thranduil’s fault. He did break my first Tumblr, Book II’s Blog....2 Facebook pages, Twitter, Pinterest recently...Instagram once. One cell phone, two tablets and of course my heart. He’s going to break the net one day. I wouldn’t be surprised.
