I am the author of "The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy". I completed Book II: The Saga of Thranduil (two versions). I am currently on Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen and Book III: The Last Tale of Legolas Lasgalen © 2015-2018.

Tomorrow is Thranduil Thursday--one day away from the official announcement about the re-release of Book II: The Saga of Thranduil. He’s going to a lot of places (as the professional people asked to see it in its entirety). I’m always excited when my readers see things first of course--without you, Thranduil wouldn’t have gotten this far. My father, I believe would be proud of how far we’ve come. 😌 How far we’ve come. I don’t know if I should be proud of myself--I always think I’m being selfish when I do, but I’m very happy.

Due to the fact I just got an email by another writing something or another about publishing (and publicity, etc) for The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy--most specifically Book II: The Saga of Thranduil (who knew people could search me on Google), I’ve changed my mind about letting a few (a select few) see some of the book. I have to discuss it over the next two days (I have an appointment in an hour, one tomorrow) and see where I stand on the matter. Carry on. If I decide to do anything, a website would be a part of it all. It’s not like TKWRT hasn’t had offers, but it’s may be tine to take up most of them now.

Just talked to my dad. He never answers the phone (when he forgets to plug it in) but when he does, he reads all my text messages then calls and asked why I didn’t call him--his phone doesn’t have voicemail. He asked me what I’ve been doing, so I said writing a book. He then says, “you’re always working on that book and I’ve never seen it”. So I said, I just finished it. So now he wants to see it in person.

Before I go any further: This is the man that thinks Lee Pace (Stuff) should stop wearing dresses. I realized that he thinks Thranduil’s in a dress but he does know the difference between him and Calpernia and when I said Elvenking, that’s when he said he wants to see this book up close and in person. If I show him the seashells photo, I’ll acquire a new nephew because my nephew did the same thing in St. Croix a few years back so I’ll hold off on that one. I will say, @fortunatelyclevercandy; he did think he was “sweeter than chocolate” before his new boyfriend. Even with Alzheimer's he can spot that a mile away. He would know; his late sister (one of my favorite aunts) was a lesbian.

So, anyway, I have to print off 1080 pages--two full versions of Book II: The Saga of Thranduil in the next few days. Just in time for January 27, free agency and half a dozen people on a few websites wanting to know if I’ll be talking about this book often (as in podcast or something; I don’t even know what that is). So, for the first time since I printed it the first time, Thranduil will appear in book form as a manuscript. That means, for posterity, I’ll naturally take photos. Saying that online and in public I am fully aware that is about to make more than a few people I know salivate. 🤤 On the upside, I have enough ink to do it and Dad bought me a box of reams when I started the book so I have plenty of paper.

Leave it to my dad to make this even more monumental than it needs to be or should be...I don’t know. I’m just happy he remembers I’m writing a book and knows who the Elvenking is right now.

I had a headache earlier, so I rested. I got a lot of things off my mind today. I was told my anxiety was normal and that I need to stop worrying about my family not noticing me. They don't even know what I do. That hurts, but I was told not to worry and concentrate on moving forward. My meeting went well, I guess. They think I should think about moving on to getting Book II: The Saga of Thranduil published. It's time now they think. They told me it's time for it to go into the world so the others can follow. I guess the time has come for Thranduil now, @fortunatelyclevercandy. He's ready. So what comes out on November 10 will be what comes next for this book. Thranduil has been ready for some time.

It took 6 hours to upload everything to the cloud to make room to write. Finally. Much better. Some people need a Snickers to feel like themselves. I need to write. Today I get to post. But also must find a document site to post Book II: The Saga of Thranduil in its entirety for the Mythopoeic Society to read and start getting feedback. Then, @fortunatelyclevercandy, if it is good as some say it is, Thranduil will undoubtedly go where no one has gone in 20 years--To the Tolkien Estate. Which is why there is such a mad dash to Thranduil all of a sudden. I know this. People have wanted another Middle Earth novel for twenty years. Granted, I never thought I'd be considered for it as I am writing about the most obscure character in the whole story. I barely thought I'd get over 400 pages out of a few paragraphs. But I have. So I have some work to do. Forgive me for my outbursts. Writing keeps me from baying at the moon. I can be rather annoying if I don't get enough of it. I have a daunting task ahead, but somehow the challenge is exciting. It seems to drive me rather than frighten me. Two people who don't know each other seem to think I was meant to do this. I don't know about that, but I love every minute of it.
