classic as hell
Well, in between ruling Mirkwood and the Kingdom of France, a girl’s got to have a hobby, right? 😛
I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you I will not let the White City fall, nor our people fail.
Aragorn rocks.

Aragorn, son of Aragorn.
now come the days of the king! may they be blessed!

”It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succor of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till.”
“An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down, but it is not this day!“
I wish there were more heroes such as these in the real world.
I was working--you know, I have the Saturday scheduled post for WordPress--bright and early people get to read it. Anyway, the weirdest thing is the fact that I gained 60+ new friends on Facebook over the past couple days. Every one of them came from a Middle-Earth Group I was asked to administer. That page has gotten over 100+ new people in 12 hours. Interestingly, most of them showed up as new friends. Coincidentally, most of the new members of the Middle-Earth Group came over because of Book II: The Saga of Thranduil and other books of The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy (has 300 likes on its FB page; catching up with Instagram).
For the record: It’s a book--beginning, middle and end. It’s a very long trilogy but I suppose most trilogies are. Thranduil is the FIRST book done (except for the extended version: there more in there and I don’t know when it will be available for download again). When I say “I am Thranduil”, I’m not kidding; It’s told in first-person. Currently, I am Orothôn, father of Oropher. Soon I’ll be Oropher, father of Thranduil and finally, I will be Legolas, son of Thranduil (father of wouldn’t you like to know--it’s in the Extended Version of Book III). I’ll also be Nendúril, father of Êlúriel, WIFE of Thranduil and mother of Legolas (stand-alone book of this mini-franchise people keep wanting to buy on Amazon).
Since it is a book and not an endless fanfics with multiple chapters and not an X Reader (I still don’t know what that is), it will end so I can write something else--Possibly tell the story of the House of Durin?
Just kidding...though you might meet Durin the Deathless. You’re going to be meeting some Dwarves (again--I’m currently about to meet King Durin III of Khazâd-dûm in a minute on WordPress; looks like Thorin Oakenshield. I know, in Chapter XX, Thorin asks Thranduil about him before he dies). Yeah, sounds complicated because I am writing to stick to actual canon so there’s nothing in this book from the films and the books are complicated.
Trust me, if I get into the dwarves history, I’d better have a book contract--this isn’t easy. Took six months to make Celeborn related to Thranduil (which he was--its in Tolkien). Haldir is having fun, though. He’s in Book II with his brothers, Celeborn and Galadriel.
Just in case you don’t know, the cast of elves are growing so if you are following along, you’re going to need a chart; and probably for the dwarves as well--I forgot I gave Kíli and Fíli’s father a past I almost forgot...and the humans and quite possibly the orcs because there is a new one.
So EVEN though the ELVES are telling their stories (like BOOK II: THE SAGA OF THRANDUIL--it’s THRANDUIL speaking), you don’t just GET their stories--you get Middle-Earth from the POV of the Elves.
Translation: There are some chapters that are so detailed with Tolkien Middle-Earth History, it will either bore you to death or, for a die-hard Tolkien person, you might like it.
What it is NOT: About Sex or Fantasies about Elves. It is a series of books with a plot that follows the life and times of the Woodland Elves from their beginnings to their end--which doesn’t happen until the Epilogue of Book III: The Last Tale of Legolas Lasgalen, so no, what you read here: @tkwrtrilogy and @extendedtkwrtrilogyend is not the end of the book. Sorry, when you follow Tolkien, you have to be SUITABLE FOR WORK because you never know when a real Tolkien might be watching--because people keep sending emails to them asking for this book.
I don’t know when, but it will because it’s a book that ends. I also don’t read other people’s work because I’m doing a “purist” story so I can’t have any outside influences--not even the films. I’m reading ACTUAL Tolkien for that reason. Just got The Fall of Gondolin because it happens in Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen (coming soon). That’s how much TOLKIEN goes into this book. It reads like a textbook with footnotes.
Some people are praying for me to find a publisher--really, an Anglican Priest said he was. If that happens, I will cease to be a fan fiction (though most of my author friends don’t call it a fan fiction but a continuation of Tolkien--just go with it; I just concentrate on writing a story Tolkien and my father can be proud of).
Genre: High Fantasy. Ages: 12-apparently over 60 now. Pages: over 1100+. Plot: Elves talking about their lives and adventures. Volumes: 3 and possibly more. PG-13/Suitable For Work (Come on, it’s based on and follows actual Tolkien). It’s not a film either: I don’t know where that hashtag came from.
There IS NO SAGA OF THRANDUIL FILM/MOVIE (not without my permission; this is an ORIGINAL STORY even though it follows Tolkien. There are at least 140+ new characters, geographical landmarks, horses, dwarves, men, at least one wizard, an orc...you get the idea). Trust me, if this was about to become a book, film or a series, there is no way on EARTH anyone not living under a rock wouldn’t know. I’m a woman of color that some people confuse with the grandfather of the modern high fantasy genre; that would not go unnoticed.
ONE trademark of my story: ELVISH. And not FILM ELVISH--that has nothing to do with Tolkien’s original work. I only USE Tolkien as a REFERENCE--for EVERYTHING including his languages. I only read his Tengwar (and that is easier than I thought it would be). I only consult Tolkien Experts when necessary. This is ALL ABOUT TOLKIEN’S Middle-Earth. Not the film (just use for visual), not my IDEA of MIDDLE-EARTH. All names created using ONLY TOLKIEN’s Etymologies--with the exception of the Dwarves. They all came from the same ancient text--so the new Dwarves came from where Tolkien got his dwarves. So I also READ Tolkien’s outside research works.
I did all this work for free so my dad could see me finish something while he was still alive. Being a College Professor like J.R.R. Tolkien, naturally, I had to go full-on academic. So far, he finds the baby elves hilarious. He got an autographed copy and it was so large he was proud because it looked like a Chemistry Textbook. Works for me. I’m just glad he’s still here to see it being read by a broader audience I didn't think possible. I don’t know if he’ll be here to see it between two covers but currently working on it for a lovely lady in Canada who wants to put these books on a shelf next to her original copies of Tolkien’s work. That would make my father really proud.
I know people are watching now so they’ll know if I miss something or somehow go rogue and not stay true to Tolkien. That won’t happen--not on my watch. So it’s all good. A lot of work but worth everything I’ve had to go through to get here.
That’s about it. I don’t want to get Elrond mad at me. He’s in the current chapter on WordPress coming tomorrow. It’s good to be Elrond, Lord of Imladris/Rivendell. He’s got Gil-galad, Elendil and Isildur with him. Patience, Elrond.
Let’s get ready.
It’s about to be another great week coming up.
This is not the end… It is the beginning. You must go with Frodo. That is your path.
