It's been more than a while since I've posted a fic update because I took a little break from writing.
However! I worked on my normal/university AU this week and was able to write about 3k words as I restructured and edited and rewrote basically the whole thing. (It's a mess but I'm trying.)
BUT more importantly, after a chat with @iamamythologicalcreature yesterday (who was so incredibly helpful, seriously thank you so much) I started working on my COTTA Regency fic which I am really loving even though it was born less than 24 hours ago. So, here's some of that for you from Baz's POV ❤️
“I’m well, thank you. And you?” I ask Gareth, out of politeness in absence of interest. He seemingly can’t tell my attentions lay elsewhere as he fills me in on the mundanity of his life. My eyes continuously flick to Salisbury who appears to be cataloguing my every breath. Hell and the Devil. I thought I had imagined the way he used to look at me but clearly not, if his current examination is anything to go by. “Salisbury, I’ve been looking for you.” A young man finally breaks Salisbury out of his study of my features and a gorgeous smile graces his perfect face. I forego the need for air as I watch him.
