Happy Wednesday! I've been finding a lot more joy in my creative projects lately and it made me realize that I was coming out of a depressive episode. Sometimes it's hard to tell when you're in it and you don't always know until you're on the other side of it. Drawing felt like such a slog and I blamed it on not having enough time, but I also wasn't making time for it. It feels so good to get back to my artwork!
I'm working on my COBB artwork and I've finally nailed down what I want to do! The foreshortening came together better than I thought it would.
I'm also wrist deep in rhinestones at the moment. Littlest Purple's ice skating coach found out that I made her practice dress and she mentioned that there's a huge demand for skating dresses at the rink. Before I decide whether or not to take commissions, I'm making a dress for Littlest Purple to see if I even enjoy the process. So far, I'm having the best time!
