I’ve remixed this and now I want to share it with everybody! I feel it is important. For science.
After playing through @wadjeteye‘s Blackwell Series (which is available on both the Steam Store and on Good Old Games), I found myself gravitating again and again to the end credits song of the second game, Blackwell Unbound. Haunting, melancholy, and bluesy, it was a song after my own heart.
After coming into contact with composer Thomas Reign during one of Dave Gilbert’s devstreams, he graciously allowed me to cover his tune. He then spiffed it up, and honestly? I couldn’t be happier with the result. Take a listen, if you would, please.
Now that Unavowed is out, I need to hype it to the ends of the Earth, along with my cover of this absolute vibe from Blackwell Unbound! Go play all of Wadjet Eye's games, guys. Please.

Finished Shardlight in a frenzy of late-night oil-burning, and it was INCREDIBLE. Tiberius is one villain that really sets me on edge, despite the empathy I feel for his … weaknesses. @wadjeteye did a splendid job with this game, and I’m delighted I nabbed it on last week’s sale!

EDIT for second reblog: I’m strongly considering doing more of these “recordings from the Void” exploring the other Gaster personalities that have been proposed and expanded on by the fandom. Ideally, this would entail working with Gaster blogs around Tumblr to get impressions of their personal headcanons for the good doctor, and recording brief improvs like this one with that information. Message me if you or a fellow tumblrite may be interested!
In other news, I have realized once again that my vocabulary has gone and goofed me up without my realizing it; “missive” as defined by an actual dictionary is a written letter or message. Woopsie doopsie on my part! I’m not going to take down and re-edit the whole file just for that, though. XD
