When the whumpee and the caretaker are out in a snowy area, and the whumpee ends up getting soaked in freezing water. The caretaker having to call for help and then try to keep the whumpee as warm as possible while they wait. The whumpee starting to fall asleep while they wait, and the caretaker having to desperately try to keep them awake. Them managing to keep the whumpee awake for a few minutes, but the whumpee falling asleep anyway. The caretaker being alarmed by this, but not being able to do anything about it, and just desperately hoping that help will get there soon.
When the whumpee gets bitten by an animal that may or may not be venomous, and they have no way of finding out if it is. The whumpee having to just do their best to clean the wound and bandage it, and then wait to see if it was venomous. The whumpee ending up staying awake for hours, but eventually not being able to stay awake anymore, and falling asleep wondering if they’d ever wake up again, or if the potential venom might kill them in their sleep.
When the whumpee gets poisoned, and their team isn't sure what kind of poison was used, so they don't know which antidote to give them. Their team having to choose an antidote to give them anyway, because if they do nothing, the whumpee will die, but if they give them the wrong one, it will also kill them. Their teammates eventually choosing one, and giving it to the whumpee, then just having to wait and see if they survive, desperately hoping they made the right choice.
