When the whumpee starts getting hypothermic on a mission in a cold, snowy area, but they try to push through it without telling their teammates, because they haven't been on the team very long and they don't want to be an inconvenience. One of their teammates noticing just how much the whumpee is shivering, and telling the team leader that the whumpee needs shelter and warmth. The team leader deciding it’s time to find shelter for the night, and as soon as they’ve found shelter, going over to the whumpee and asking if they’re ok. The whumpee trying to deny that anything’s wrong, but being so cold and out of it that their leader simply ignores them and leads them to sit down. The rest of the team helping the leader get the whumpee situated in the leader’s arms, and then wrapping the two in a blanket. The whumpee leaning into the team leader’s touch almost involuntarily, too cold to stop themself, and the leader gently scolding them about hiding how cold they were as they hold them close, trying to share as much warmth as possible.

When the whumpee’s team goes to rescue them, and they find them curled up in the corner of a cold cell, shivering. Their teammates immediately rushing to the whumpee, and one of their teammates pulling off their jacket to wrap around them. The whumpee leaning into their teammate’s touch, seeking out warmth, and the strongest teammate scooping them up and cradling them close. The whumpee clinging to them almost desperately, and their teammates rushing them out of there so they can get them somewhere warm and safe.

When the whumpee and the caretaker are out in a snowy area, and the whumpee ends up getting soaked in freezing water. The caretaker having to call for help and then try to keep the whumpee as warm as possible while they wait. The whumpee starting to fall asleep while they wait, and the caretaker having to desperately try to keep them awake. Them managing to keep the whumpee awake for a few minutes, but the whumpee falling asleep anyway. The caretaker being alarmed by this, but not being able to do anything about it, and just desperately hoping that help will get there soon. 

When the whumpee and their team are doing a training exercise in a cold, snowy area, and the whumpee gets very, very cold. The whumpee not mentioning it to any of their teammates, because they’ve only been on the team for a short time, and they don't want to be an inconvenience. One of their teammates noticing them shivering, and slowly becoming more and more out of it, and telling the leader that the whumpee needs to get somewhere warm. The leader ending then training for the day, and as soon as they’ve all gotten inside, them going over to the whumpee and asking if they’re ok. The whumpee trying to brush off their leader’s concern, but their leader seeing just how out of it they are, and noticing that the whumpee is barely even shivering anymore. The leader rushing them over to sit down somewhere comfortable, and the rest of the team helping them get the whumpee’s winter gear off before the leader wraps them in their arms. The whumpee being too cold and out of it to protest, and their teammates wrapping the two in blankets, then one teammate going to make whatever hot drink they have on hand. The leader settling in to hold the whumpee for awhile while they warm up, and as the whumpee curls into them, the leader deciding that they need to have a conversation about the importance of being honest about problems as soon as the whumpee’s recovered enough.

When the whumpee is stuck in the rain on a cold, windy day, and they can't make it somewhere warm on their own, so they have to call the caretaker. The caretaker driving to pick them up, and rushing the soaked, shaking whumpee into the car as soon as they see them. The whumpee leaning into their touch, and being too out of it to do more than let the caretaker guide them where they want them. The caretaker draping a jacket over the whumpee as soon as they’re in the car, and desperately wishing they’d thought to bring a blanket or some towels as they drive home. Them quickly getting the whumpee inside, and proceeding to help them into dry, warm clothes, and then settle them down on the couch. The whumpee curling up against the arm of the couch, wrapped in a warm blanket, and sipping the tea the caretaker brought them. Them wanting the caretaker to come hug them, because they’re so cold, and the caretaker is so warm, and the caretaker somehow realizing what the whumpee wants. The caretaker coming over and wrapping their arms around the whumpee, who leans into them, reveling in the warmth and comfort.

When the caretaker gets home in the middle of winter, and they find a trail of big puddles of water leading to the bathroom. Them not being alarmed by this at first, because it wasn't uncommon for the whumpee to let the snow on their coat and boots melt all over the floor, but when they follow the trail, they hear quiet whimpering coming from the bathroom. Them hurrying to the bathroom, and finding the whumpee curled up on the floor, stuck halfway out of their soaked shirt, and shivering harder than the caretaker had ever seen. The caretaker rushing to help them the rest of the way out of their soaked, freezing clothing, and then drying them off as quickly as possible. The caretaker then wrapping them up in towels, and helping them to the couch, where they pile as many blankets on the whumpee as they can find, and then slip under the blankets with them, trying to share their body heat so the whumpee will warm up faster.

When the whumpee goes out on a frozen lake to save someone, and they succeed, but they fall in before they can get back to shore. Them somehow making it somewhere near the edge, and the caretaker helping them drag themself onto solid ground, then rushing them to somewhere warm. The caretaker helping them out of their wet clothes and wrapping them up in blankets, holding them close in an effort to share as much body heat as possible. Once the caretaker has gotten the whumpee warmed up, and the whumpee is feeling up to it, the person they rescued thanking them for saving them even though it was dangerous, and the whumpee telling them that it was no problem, but to please not go out on any more frozen lakes.

When the whumpee gets lost in a snow storm, and they end up pass out due to the hypothermia. The whumpee waking up an unknown amount of time later, feeling very, very warm, and when they eventually find enough energy to open their eyes, they discover that their team has found them, and brought them somewhere warm. The whumpee discovering that they’ve been tucked into bed and covered in a truly absurd amount of blankets, with a teammate cuddled up against each of their sides. Their teammates all being very excited to see them awake, and a third teammate helping them sip hot tea without moving out from under the blankets, where the whumpee feels cozy and safe. The whumpee having no idea what happened after they passed out, or how their teammates found them, but being too tired to really care at that moment, and dozing off again in their teammate’s arms.

When the whumpee is hypothermic when they’re rescued from the whumper, and the caretaker holds them to warm them up. Someone else wrapping blankets tightly around the two, trying to keep them as warm as possible. The whumpee waking up during this, and freaking out because the blankets are restricting their ability to move, and it makes them think the whumper still has them. The caretaker having to loosen the blankets and try to calm them down without letting the whumpee get any colder, and then having to persuade them to let the blankets be wrapped tighter again, because they really do need the warmth.

When the whumpee is falls into a frozen lake near the caretaker’s house, and the caretaker rushes them there to warm them up. The caretaker helping them dry off and put on something warm, then sitting on the couch with them and holding them until they warm up. The caretaker wrapping the two of them in blankets, and the whumpee burying their face in the caretaker’s shoulder as they shiver. The whumpee eventually starting to warm back up, and drifting off to sleep in the caretaker’s arms.

When the whumper decides to leave the whumpee tied up outside in the snow so they’ll die from hypothermia, and the whumpee nearly freezes to death before their team finds them. Their teammates finding them unconscious in the snow, barely breathing. One of them gently carrying the whumpee back to the car, and several teammates crowding around them in the backseat and covering them in whatever blankets and coats they have on hand to try to keep them as warm as possible until they get to proper medical treatment. One teammate picking the whumpee up and rushing them inside when they finally get to somewhere the whumpee can be treated, leaving the rest of the team to worry and catch up as soon as they can.

When the whumpee just joined the team, and they still keep to themself most of the time because they don’t really feel like they belong, but then they end up falling through the ice on a frozen lake at the end of a mission. One of their teammates giving them a dry coat to wear until they get somewhere warm, at which point the whumpee shakily goes to try and get warmed up by themself, only for their teammates to stop them so they can start helping them. The whumpee being so surprised by this that all they can do is let their teammates guide them through changing into dry clothing, and then settle them on the couch in the arms of a teammate. The rest of the team covering the two in thick, warm blankets, and the teammate holding the shivering whumpee gently guiding their head down onto their shoulder, holding them close as they finally start to warm up. The whumpee relaxing there, too tired and cold to argue, surprised that their new teammates are taking care of them, but glad that they found people who seem to want them around.

When the whumper leaves the whumpee is a freezing cell, and by the time their team manages to find them, they’re unconscious and hypothermic. Their team not having been prepared for this, and trying to figure out what to do while one of the quickly moves to hold the whumpee close, trying to share as much body heat as possible. The whumpee curling slightly into the teammate as the rest of the team decides they need to get them to the transport outside as soon as possible, and the strongest teammate picking them up so they can go. The team rushing the whumpee to the transport, the strongest setting them down in the back, and two of the other teammates settling on either side of the whumpee to help warm them up. The strongest finding some blankets somewhere, and covering the three with them, smiling slightly as they see the whumpee curl into their teammates again, then settling in for the trip back to the team’s base, content to keep an eye on them.

When the whumpee and their friends are on a camping trip in winter, and the whumpee ends up falling in a cold river near their campsite. Their friends having to haul them back to the tent and get them into dry clothing, even though it’s still pretty cold inside the tent. All but one of their friends ending up curled up around the whumpee under all the sleeping bags and blankets they have, and the other friend making hot tea for the whumpee, then helping them drink it without leaving the blanket pile. Them keeping the whumpee in the blankets all night, then packing up and going home so they can fuss over the whumpee for a little bit longer, and all deciding that they’d never camp in winter again, because the next time someone fell in a river, they'd all rather it be summer.
