These all perfectly encapsulate how I felt about that finale.

What was the point of all the Barney/Robin buildup.

And the character development for the three of them.

In the end they all regressed back to exactly what they were??

And I don’t care how long it was that the mother was dead (which was NOT COOL anyways) the fact that he still wanted to be with Robin shows he probably had feelings for her EVEN WHEN HE WAS WITH THE MOTHER.

Which COMPLETELY ruins the entirety of what the show was based on.

This was just a way for the writers to try to please everyone, but they really fucked up.
