ik time loop suicide is a trite trope but the endless (2017) was honestly so fucking inventive with it. its sick. its awesome. and yet they lack the main ingredient that makes a good movie: charm. the protagonists have the charisma of a wooden plank. what could have been, brother. in another universe this movie wouldve changed the game. damn. they shldve hired actors for this… like the issue is that the movie moved nobody. i didnt feel moved. that was its sin

#the time loop bubbles were soooooo gooooodddddd like an entire area with specific set parameters#and the one with the house of rising sun bgm was legitimately horrifying#but the story didnt have heart……#meanwhile the other one did. resolution. resolution had heart#they shoulda hired actorsss#and resolution is such a good title
