FFVII Intermission (Yuffie’s DLC) end credit scene in one picture

Figuring out Zack’s timelines based on what we’ve seen so far:

The original hilt from Crisis Core is seen on the buster sword in Advent Children but not in the remake or the end credit scene.

Comparing the differences between Intergrade’s end credits scene, Crisis Core, Advent Children, and the remake (part 2)

In my other post I compared Crisis Core and the new end credits scene. Then I went and re-watched Advent Children and found more differences and similarities.

I went through Advent Children to further compare the church and it looks similar to the end credit’s scene and Crisis Core instead of the remake.

But the outside of the church in the remake looks similar to Advent Children’s, not Crisis Core.

People are speculating that Aerith is dead in Zack’s new timeline.

If what we see takes place directly after Crisis Core once they get to Midgar it would be too early for Sephiroth to kill her which means she would have died for some other reason because the timeframe wouldn’t add up…right?

It’s possible the plate fell sooner and those people were seeking refuge and went to the church. Just because we didn’t see Aerith at that exact moment doesn’t necessarily mean she’s dead.

I don’t know what would be sadder, if he lives and she died, making them star crossed lovers, or if they both died but are together like in Advent Children.

Can’t they give Zack a break? After all the shit he went through in Crisis Core the least they could do is let him be with Aerith in at least one timeline.

I hate it here.

The church in the ending of the DLC has the same characteristics as the church in Crisis Core. It’s different than the remake’s timeline. The floors and walls are similar.

And the doors in the DLC are the same as the remake’s timeline and different from Crisis Core:

And let’s not forget Stamp in the remake and Stamp after Zack survives:

So… what timeline is Zack in? Some things are different than the original while some are the same.

I truly hate how long it will be before we get any answers.
