Kagami, Aomine, Kasamatsu and Nash say I love you to their gf for the first time. Thank you ♡♡♡♡♡

Kagami Taiga:

“What did I do? Why are you ignoring me?” Kagami hated sounding whiny, but that was exactly what he was doing.

You sighed in exasperation. “You didn’t do anything! I’m not! Just…leave me alone for a bit. Please?”

Poor Kagami didn’t know why you were mad, and he was convinced that you were mad at him, no less. He’d later find out that you were simply having your time of the month and you weren’t actually angry at him.

But either way, Kagami wanted to make things up to you, and most of all he wanted you to know that he’d be there for you.

The next day when you arrived at school, you had stomped to your desk at the corner of the classroom, only to find your friends surrounding it and chatting over each other. “What are you guys doing at my desk, drawing mustaches on my notebooks?” You asked them, annoyed, only to stop and stare at the unfamiliar bento box sitting in the middle of your table, with a Post-It note stuck on it.

I got the feeling that you were mad at me, so I hope that whatever I did, this makes up for it. I love you. -Taiga

And holy smokes, was that the smell of mackerel from the bento box? You couldn’t stay angry for long like this.

“He’s a keeper,” your friend whispered.

“S-shut up!”

Aomine Daiki:

Aomine would never admit it out loud, but one of the reasons he couldn’t bring himself to say “I love you” was because he was scared. There was just so much commitment in those three words and he just never thought he was ready for that: until the two of you got into an argument and then Aomine realised how much you meant to him.

“Who was that other girl?” You demanded. “Momoi says she doesn’t know who that is, so it can’t possibly be a classmate of yours.”

“How should I know? It was just a random girl, she dropped her phone!” Aomine retorted defensively.

“Really? Because it looks like you were flirting with her.”

“I wasn’t!”

“Really? How do I know you’re not just going to up and dump me like how you do with all your other girlfriends?” You couldn’t help raising your voice, but your anxiousness was getting to you: that in the end, you were no different to Aomine than a girl he’d picked up due to her breast size.

“I’m not going to dump you!”

“Why the hell not?”

“Because I love you, damnit!” Aomine burst out angrily. “Can’t you see that?”

There was a long silence, where Aomine only heard the sound of his own breathing. Then, quietly, you said, “Oh.”

“Oh.” Aomine shook his head, feeling embarrassed.

Kasamatsu Yukio:

“Are you visiting senpai? Hey, you’re pretty cute! Can I have a picture?”

“Kise, please, I was here first - how are you today, my lady?” Moriyama shoved Kise out of the way, beaming at you. You’d arrived suddenly to wait for Kasamatsu, and while he was glad to see you, practice was suddenly put on hold as his teammates swarmed eagerly around you.

“I’m just waiting for Yukio to finish practice, that’s all,” you replied shyly. “Since if I’m here to remind him, there won’t be a repeat of last time’s incident…”

“What incident?” Kise’s eyes were glimmering with curiosity.

You chuckled. “We had bought tickets to see a movie after school, but Yukio forgot about it and went home after basketball practice. He remembered and rushed to the movie when it was halfway through, but the other people weren’t too happy about it because he still reeked of sweat!”

“Wahh senpai you’re disgusting!” Kise wailed, holding his nose, and a vein popped in Kasamatsu’s forehead.

“That was one time!” he retorted hotly, even though he couldn’t help grinning at the memory. “Look, okay, I love you, but you’re distracting my team. I’ll treat you to ice cream after this, okay?”

Silence. Your face went red and a cry went up among the Kaijo teammates.

“SENPAI WHAAAAAT?”

“He said it! He actually said it!” Moriyama was fumbling for his phone. “Shit, did anyone record that? Kasamatsu said that! And to a girl!”

Nash Gold Jr:

As cruel as it sounded, most of Nash’s past flings had only been, well, flings. They never meant anything to him, he was just there for the short ride, the little thrill, then he’d move on to someone else.

But you were different. Shit, he actually found himself thinking about life in the future with you. Like marriage and kids.

Even though Nash caught himself in time, he wondered, did he care for you more than all those other girls before?

And more importantly, could he admit it to you?

And it just so happened to slip out once when Nash was on the phone with you, where you were apologising over some little thing.

“I’m sorry I can’t make it to the game. But I’ll cheer you on from my board meeting, okay?” You sounded regretful. “Plus, I know you’ll win.”

Nash sighed. “Okay. It’s fine. This will be an easy game anyway. Work’s more important.”

“I’m sorry.”

“I said it’s fine. I’ll see you later tonight, we can go out for drinks to celebrate. I gotta go now. Love you.”

There was a pause, and Nash suddenly realised what he said, but it was too late to take it back - then he realised, he didn’t want to.

And then your response came as a relieved sigh: “I love you too.”
