This would actually be the cutest couple, it’s so cute it’s giving me fanfic ideas.
Like Nepheli could be depressed after being abandoned by Gideon, but then the tarnished gives her the storm king ashes. She’s trying to figure out how to properly communicate with it so she goes to Roderika.
Then later, when Nepheli becomes the new lord of Stormveil Castle and Limgrave, she could convince Roderika to come with her (AU where they convince Hewg to come too) and advise her on royal matters (since Roderika comes from a wealthy family and would be familiar with politics).
For extra comedy you could have the Storm King acting as a wingman (lol he’s an eagle) for Nepheli. He’d probably advise her to go way overboard like “You should use the storm’s power to write Roderika’s name in the sky! That will show her how important she is to you!” Or “You should go kill this gigantic monster singlehandedly and present the corpse to her! Nothing impresses a potential mate more than that!”
Damn now I want to write this… maybe when Uni finishes for the semester…
