Hi . Sorry I took so long to make this post, it was a bit difficult for me because of the subject matter.
One of the covers of Powerpuff Girls by Dynamite, #4 is traced from fan art by a DeviantArt user named Jermin19
Tracing is done often in comics to save on time. I want to think in good faith that the artist did not identify that her drawing was fan art and assumed it was official.
(This is from my memory, so things may be a little off.) Jermin19 committed suicide at the age of 17 in 2017. She cannot advocate for a change in cover herself. I loved her art and videos when I was a child. Now i am older than she was. It fills my heart with sadness to see her memory be taken advantage of, even on accident.
Please politely ask Dynamite Comics to not print this cover or to alter it. Thank you.
