#I’m not a violin or viola player #obviously #but for ANY instrumentalist #if your back hurts while you’re playing #SOMETHING IS WRONG #that’s not normal and you should try to figure out what’s causing it #I took an entire class in uni about not having pain while playing/performing #I used to have back pain while I played and I don’t anymore #(my issue was that I lean forward when I play but I also had years of back pain from an injury)
