Plot:

College student, Abigal Jenkins (Amanda Seyfried) receives a taunting phone call from an unknown person (voiced by Roger L. Jackson). The situation escalates out of control quickly, with Abigal’s life being put in the hands of her boyfriend, Dylan Baker (Mike Vogel), Abigal is brutally killed, but Dylan escapes and is able to get help from a family far from Abby’s house, though it’s however already too late.

The following day, Kirby Reed (Hayden Panetierre) is alerted by her friends, Robbie Mercer (Erik Knudsen), and Erin Meyers (Emma Stone) that Dylan’s girlfriend was killed last night, Dylan being among one of Kirby’s new friends. News reports begin to surface and Kirby and Robbie discovers that the killer is once again donning the ‘Ghostface’ costume. The kids are then interviewed by both Sheriff Watson (Jensen Ackles) and Deputy Bates (Shia Lebouf)

Later that afternoon Kirby’s friends, Robbie, Erin, Dylan, Erin and Jay Hemming (Taylor Handley) go to Jay’s house. They further discuss the murders and Robbie suggests that perhaps the remake (Woodsboro Massacre Reboot) is getting a sequel. Kirby leaves the house and later gets a call from Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), previous victim of the other massacres. Sidney warns her of what may be coming next. Kirby tells her that she’ll be fine. Kirby later receives a phone call from the killer. Kirby is warned by Ghostface that if he was to be remaking Stab 2 that another college student would be killed next, possibly suggesting one of her friends.

Kirby gets back into the car and rushes back to Jay’s house, elsewhere Dianna Stone (Dakota Fanning) gets a call from the killer whilst she is alone in her dorm. The killer, who was revealed to be in the room/dorm the whole time stabs Dianna’s shoulder and throws her off the balcony. A teenager below the balcony, shocked, alerts campus security, the killer however is out of sight.

Deputy Bates and the sheriff once again interviews each of the teens, asking them whether or not they were close with the latest victim. Deputy Bates beings to suspect Jay who showed obvious signs of nervousness when being interviewed; they take into possession Jay’s phone overnight.

The next afternoon, Robbie becomes increasingly nervous that he is next to die due to Randy’s death in STAB 2. Kirby, Erin and Robbie stay in a group so that they are at less chance of being killed. Erin receives a phone from the killer who straight away threatens her; Erin taunts him over the phone and then hands the phone over to Robbie. Robbie speaks to the killer by stalling him, while also searching for Ghostface whilst the others also attempt to find him.

Despite Robbie’s prediction, Dylan is instead killed during a chase scene that takes place inside the school performance theatre; this saddens Kirby as she begins to realize that maybe Sidney was right in her becoming the new target.

That same afternoon Sheriff Watson is killed, afterwards Jay’s phone is stolen from Bates’ desk. The same night Erin gathers Kirby’s remaining friends back at Jay’s house where they try to have a good time. Jay still acts suspiciously whilst Robbie hits on Erin who continues to reject him. Deputy Bates arrives at Erin’s house and tells them that they should all head back to their dorms. All four of the kids prepare to leave, however Ghostface gives Erin a scare and chases her up to the second floor of the house. Erin hides from the killer but Ghostface spots Kirby back down on the first floor and he proceeds to chase her. She hides from the killer around the outside of the house until she is able to get back into the house, Deputy Bates is killed whilst outside searching for the teenagers. Kirby searches for her friends so that she is able to escape, but no one is to be found.

She sneaks her way back inside, and as she is heading towards the lounge room Ghostface appears at the front door, she runs into the room, but inside a second Ghostface appears. Kirby, both confused and terrified backs into the corner of the room as one of the Ghostface’s takes off his mask. Who is revealed to be Jay. Whilst the other Ghostface who is revealed to be Erin. Jay explains his motive as wanting more STAB films, because Sidney Prescott threatened to sue if they used her story, they had to make a new story, a new victim and a new heroine. Jay desired another good STAB film, and he believes the massacre ongoing now, would be perfect for a movie. Erin’s motive also revolving around the STAB films was so that she could be apart of the franchise, she claimed that she would play Kirby in the movie, thus making her career of being an actor a reality. She also explained that she was going to frame Deputy Bates, his motive being to remake the events of the second STAB film.

Erin then leaves the room to show Kirby, Robbie. Whilst Erin is gone, Jay explains to Kirby that he doesn’t wasn’t to be apart of the murders and that Erin is actually is his sister and forcing him to commit the murders with her so that she won’t tell the authorities that Jay aided Erin in killing their mother. Erin killed her mother because she had disbelief in Erin’s acting career and Jay had no part in the murder whatsoever. He also confesses to Kirby that he has always been in love with her ever since they shared classes together.

Erin comes back into the room with Robbie, who is being wheeled into the room by a wheelbarrow. Erin rips the ductape from his mouth after Robbie says his last words, Erin shoots him in the heart and he is killed. (Ala Derek) Jay charges towards Erin but she shoots him in the shoulder first, she states that she had heard their whole conversation and that she was listening the whole time she finished Jay off with a gunshot to the head. Erin then walks towards Kirby, knife in hand and stabs her repeatedly in the stomach.

Erin phones the police and they show up minutes later, they burst into the house, guns armed, as well as paramedics and Erin tells a false story of what happened, including framing Deputy Bates and Jay. A cough is heard in the lounge room and the police officers enter the room, paramedics lift Kirby onto the stretcher whilst Erin watches in anger. As Kirby is being lifted onto the ambulance, she tells the one of the paramedics that Erin left something important out of her story.  Cut to black, credits roll.

(Gale’s cameo would have been on the television, as she is once again a reporter)

Why I should win:

I personally think that my plot is best because it goes where no Scream movie has gone before, I mean with the whole best friend turning out to be the killer. (Jill doesn’t count since Kirby was technically the cool best friend) I also broke the tradition of someone dying at the beginning, I had someone escape and actually became a recurring character in the plot. Both motives were also in my opinion very clever and original. I was also the first to introduce a remorseful killer, I think I did a good job with my casting as well as my plot. I’d love to win, and I think I very much deserve it. :)
