The relationship between Daemon and Nettles has always been portrayed as lovers in pre-asoiaf/pre-GOT and pre-Fire and Blood lore.
Sorry, I had a bug on my phone so I couldn't finish writing my message. (so sorry if you took that as an assault) This, above, is just something I see repeated very often. I'm not familiar with books in general, and I'd like to know / understand what people hear when they say that to support that the relationship has always been presented as sexual and or loving, so it's an undeniable truth . From what I understand, however, it is always through the biased accounts of maesters who did not attend the events that we were entitled to this information. Isn't the only maester who supported a different relationship the only one who actually saw Nettles and Daemon interact?
The only maester who actually interacted with Daemon while Daemon was with Nettles was Maester Norren the Lord of the Maidenpool’s household maester.
You can look at what both I and the-king-andthe-lionheart say HERE, HERE, and HERE. And if you care to see how I saw Nettles’ characterization, you can click HERE.
Or you can look through my blog (the long way) and search under the tag “daemon and nettles” to look at everything I and others write about this “ship”.
Below is me answering you about the unreliability of Fire and Blood and HotD/ASoIaF fandom’s use/twisting of this phenomenon.
