My name is Jameela Al-Dahdouh from Gaza. I am 70 years old, and I live with my elderly husband, Jamal, who is 76 and unemployed. We are trapped between the walls of fear, despair, and deep sadness due to the ongoing war in Gaza. I am in desperate need of help from every person with a live conscience and a compassionate heart who understands the true meaning of humanity.

I am suffering from cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. I have undergone surgeries to remove the affected organs. As a result of the disease, my body has swollen and become severely inflamed. Due to the war in Gaza, I have been unable to continue my required treatment and undergo the necessary surgeries.

I am actively seeking to travel abroad to undergo the necessary surgeries and complete the required doses of treatment.

I dream of receiving the medical care needed to continue living a dignified life with my husband, where we can feel safe and stable. Please help me achieve this dream through your kind donations, which will undoubtedly have a tremendous impact in saving my life.

The funds raised will be used for:

• Food and water, ensuring access to daily necessities.

• Traveling to receive the necessary medical services and undergo the required surgeries as prescribed by specialist doctors.

Please pay attention to campaigns that are set up with the goal of rebuilding lives in Gaza. Gaza is not gone. Gaza won't be a ghost town for the occupation to set up their settlements in. When you ignore campaigns that explicitly state that they aim to rebuild lives back in Gaza, you are giving credibility to those nasty beach resort ads, Isn'treal had the audacity to air. I don't want to romanticize because it is dehumanizing in itself but do you know how much hope, how much strength there is in setting up a campaign that is explicitly stating " This money is going to go to rebuilding my life back in Gaza. " Don't disrespect it in this way, don't disrespect these campaigns.

Donate to @siraj2024 at least go through his blog. Go through his fundraiser. Boost! This is tumblr, the stupidest shitposts go viral and we can't get Siraj out to the wide number of people on here?? Ahbap Foundation is one of the more reliable foundations you can donate to. They help victims by providing food, shelter and supplies for people who are now left out in the extremely cold weather and snow in Turkey:

Also, Syria hasn’t been receiving as much international aid due to political reasons. The sanctions have been temporarily removed so please don’t just focus on Turkey. Syrians needs as much as help as they can get too!

This is a petition that was launched a few hours ago in favour of lifting the disgraceful sanctions on Syria that are only hurting the innocent people and preventing the rescuers's work. Please sign and/or reblog if you can. It is unlikely this will change something but there is always hope the sanctions will be lifted at least temporarily so that people can get at least some fuel and the state can provide for their basic needs.

This i write will become outdated yet, right now: Gaziantep, Hatay and Antakya are the most damaged, difficult for rescuers to get in, and disconnected. It snows heavily as well. So far we know there are happenning aftershocks right now in several cities, reaching Adana and Mersin. Aleppo and Idlib have suffered it strongly as well.
