here;s what I think happened. Laurel/KC is comgin up on this big 3 episode arc thing. They want to play that up. Which is normal, that’s to be expected. But in order to do that they are choosing her as The Only Woman Who Matters, they are playing in ton this idea that only ONE WOMAN can be important, only ONE WOMAN can be celebrated and promoted. And that is why they only invited one woman to a panel of 16 people. They’ve chosen the Lead Female Character for the rest of the season, and they don’t feel the need to care about or promote or pay any attention to any of the other women. 

Oh yeah. It’s true.

What makes this even more of a shitshow though? Well, if you don’t feel like digging through all the legalese to find this section, I’ve done it for you. This is what it says as of 2014-01-25, 19:53 PST:
