Ohh remember the description saying Ray and Oliver will team up? Now we know how…
And that raises the question once again, why do we actually need Ray if Oliver will control his movements from a distance?
Also this looks like the scene when Felicity gets attacked isn’t it? Hubby will kick the attacker’s ass even from far away…
oh my god, YES. IT’S THE SCENE WHEN SHE GETS ATTACKED. OMG!
Protective Oliver? I’m so here for that.
So Ray is basically Oliver’s puppet?
Why do I have to wait two weeks for this?!?!? Oliver is going to be the one that actually saves Felicity.
And, Ray is going to see first hand the connection they have...and how upset Oliver gets when anyone hurts Felicity. Shall we bring up The Count? Three arrows.
(Also, please let Felicity call out for Oliver because she knows he’s there...because he’s the voice she needs to hear.)
I want to see Felicity fighting for her life. Bleeding out, unconscious, shaking in shock…and and all of the above. I want to see her in pain like anthfan, hopedreamlovepray, and the other fanfic writers put her in…all in ep. 18. Why, you ask? Because I really, really want to see Oliver realize that his death may not change anything, but hers sure would.
Just saying.
Haha! I would love to see this too. Thanks for the mention...I guess we have written that a few times, huh anthfan? ;)
:D
Re-watching this scene from State vs. Queen, three things are apparent. One, Slade is the one who financed The Count, yes, to lure Oliver out, but not so some junkie can kill him. Which leads us to two, Slade’s end-game has always been Oliver’s suffrage, not his death, so it can be concluded that he never thought that The Count could actually kill him. Therefore, three, it was a test. To see if Oliver could in fact, kill again. Break that sacred promise when the right button is pushed. And who was that right button? Felicity Smoak. So really, is it any surprise Slade kidnaps her in the finale? If Felicity being threatened with drug exposure is enough for Oliver to launch three arrows into a man’s chest, sending him crashing through a window to his death, what would Slade Wilson holding a sword to her throat do? Oliver’s first kill was to protect Shado. His first kill after his promise to Tommy, was to protect Felicity. The parallels are certainly there, and probably have not gone unnoticed by one crazy, mirakuru-fuelled nightmare. So, in the end, while it may have been Count Vertigo’s Plan B, was it really Slade’s? I think (knowing what we know now) it looks more like a dry-run before the real show-down…
I can see all of this being a part of Slade's plan. I also think back to Oliver stating that, "Love is the most powerful emotion."
Love causes people to do things they might not normally do; or push them to do things that are difficult for them. Slade is trying to find who Oliver loves the most because in the end love is the most powerful emotion. We make sacrifices, we strive harder, we hope and believe, we even die all in the name of love. Slade, despite all his hatred, he knows this and he wants to find that person that Oliver loves the most. The person that he would do anything for; the one who makes him react without thought but out of instinct to protect and love and cherish.
That person is Felicity.
A final shoulder touch.
BEFORE SHE GETS TAKEN BY SLADE BECAUSE SHE’S THE ONE OLIVER LOVES THE MOST OH MY GOD HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE IT UNTIL NEXT WEEK
YES!!! YES! As soon as Sebastian started going on about that, I was like...it's her. It has to be her. And yes, one more touch until he gets her back.
Because this is Oliver Queen, people. It’s kinda how he rolls. We want Olicity to be endgame, right? Let Oliver get all this shit out of his system so he doesn’t cheat on Felicity. Besides, Sara and Ollie? DOOMED.
At the very least, this should put a nail in Laurel and Ollie. Girl would have to have less than zero self respect if she took Ollie back again after this.
Yes, and honestly, this was going to happen. And it's true, if they expect me to buy the Laurel and Oliver stuff after this...nope.
As far as Sara and Oliver goes - this is something that they need to get closure to. It's not going to work and I hope they realize they are awesome partners and friends over everything because I really do love their teamwork. Also, I would love it if Sara points out something about the way Oliver looks at Felicity.
LOL The tags are hilarious ”never wearing his stupid mask again”
Lovely tags.
I have a question though, why is Oliver such a douche? Why did he had to ask Dig about Felicity’s whereabouts? Why can’t he pick up his fucking phone and send her a text asking when is she gonna be back? I mean he is her boss, he would be within rights to ask when is she gonna be back? Why can’t he act normal for a change and let go of the mainpain, he is NOT on the island anymore.
See, I think they have talked. She's his EA, I'm sure she's still keeping track of things for him. She can do more over a computer than most people. And, Oliver specifically says, "She's not back yet?" As if he was expecting her that day/night. So what if she just decided to stay a little longer (because if's Felicity and when she sees that Barry has no one, she would want to), and couldn't get a hole of Oliver because he was out as the Arrow, so she called Digg.
I honestly don't expect the show to address this at all. But I'm just saying, it's also there because the viewers need to know where she is because it's vital to a future scene...if they had talked over the phone before, we wouldn't see it, ergo, it doesn't work. (It's a tv show - and Arrow has been known to have these stupid plot holes - annoying as they are.)
For now, it's obvious that the man has missed her. The team has missed her. And I can't wait for the good stuff that will follow from all of this.
OMG, GUYS!
YOU KNOW WHAT THIS COULD MEAN?
I’M FREAKING OUTTTTTTT!!!!
No? What does it mean?
Well, I hope to see Felicity on the bike with Oliver XD
That’s been on my To Draw list lol. xD
Don’t tease me like that. I need you to draw that. Now.
I have SO MANY OLICITY THINGS TO DRAW alskdjfalksjfd I don’t know how I’m going to do them all I wish I could draw faster. But I have 4 weeks of no Arrow to distract me, so… IMA TRY I SWEAR. (I just gotta figure out how to prioritize them. Which ones to do first. So hard to pick. Argh.)
Sorry, all I got out of that was that you have ‘SO MANY OLICITY THINGS TO DRAW’. I’m good. All of it. I just want all of it.
I literally have a list. Literally. Now you know what I”ll be doing to fill the time during this awful break in Arrow. ;)
I literally have a list of fic to write. So you’re in good company.
And I’m totally ecstatic for all your pretties!
Dang it, guys! I go out for a night and come back to THIS! Gah, I would LOVE Felicity riding on the bike! (I've written it in to enough of my stories.)
Sigh. Also, I need to see this drawing of Felicity on Oliver's bike...like SO BAD!!!
Somehow feels like she's showing her loyalty once more.
And i'm totally over-speculating and staring at these pics too long.
So this was born out of spoilers released for the new season stating that Barry Allen (AKA The Flash) and Felicity would get along because of their interests in related science and tech things. And basically, what I heard from that article was...oh, look, we are going to get to see Jealous!Oliver. (Remember him...from the elevator in 1x22 where he shoves the papers out of the guys hands because he's hitting on Felicity. Yeah...that Oliver.)
Also, I was trying to keep it close to what COULD happen in canon so I ended it where I did for a reason. (I could possibly be persuaded at some point to add on...)
Anyway, huge, huge thanks to anthfan again for editing, cheerleading, and enabling me. (And explaining things to me in small pieces when I couldn't understand them. LOL.)
As always, your comments are genuinely appreciated! Hearing what you guys think means a lot!

A Different Shade of Green - Oliver/Felicity - PG
He didn't expect it. That feeling in his stomach whenever he saw her with someone else. The laughter that floated to him from across the office had grabbed his attention immediately.
The young man standing at her desk looked familiar but Oliver couldn't place him. He was tall and lanky with a head of sandy blonde hair and a charming smile.
Oliver watched as she leaned into him, listening to what he said while a smile played across her lips. That tightening in his gut grew into a knot of emotions. He wasn't supposed to feel this way. Not about her. Not like this. It shouldn't bother him to see her happy. He wanted her happy.
Except...this wasn't right. He couldn't quite put his finger on why. But this wasn't right.
FROM VIGILANTE TO HERO — Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) travel to Lian Yu in search of Oliver (Stephen Amell) who left Starling City after The Undertaking. Convinced to return home, Oliver finds that things are in worse shape than he thought – Isabel Rochev (guest star…
Whattttt WHY would he go back to the island omga ;sldkfjas;ldfkajwoeriaet GIVE ME SEASON 2 RIGHT NOW.
Total speculation but maybe because he feels he failed in his mission so he goes back because he's trying to find his new purpose...I just love that Felicity and Diggle do go and get him.
What the hell are Felicity, Oliver and Diggle doing in the “jungle”? Is that the Island?
CAN THE DAMN SEASON START ALREADY?! THIS IS KILLING ME!
Is it just me or does he seem to not have a shirt on? Wonder if this is the scene EBR (or was it a writer) hinted at where she ends up onto top of him and he’s shirtless.
#please make it so #please #I need it #can’t even begin to guess why they’re in the woods
Okay, so we know Stephen has said that when the first episode airs, Oliver is not in Starling City at first. When Stephen was asked to describe the first episode of season 2 in one word at Comic Con, he replied "trees.". So, what if, Oliver's off somewhere remote (obviously with the trees and such) and Felicity and Diggle track him down or he contacts them for some help. They go in and it does look like Oliver is not wearing a shirt so maybe the line their swinging down from gets cut or he dives over her to protect her and that's how he ends up on top of her shirtless like the writers teased. Either way, I CANNOT WAIT!!!
He wants to be reunited with Milah. He wants to be out of this world. He doesn't want to live with the pain anymore becuase that's all he knows anymore. Pain and revenge. Until he met Emma. Then he was intrigued again. He found someone who could match him scar for scar, pain for pain, and she learned how to love again. She learned that love isn't weakness, it's strength. And she will teach that to Hook. She'll remind Killian that he can love again. That he can feel again. That love isn't weakness. It's strength. That's this show's catchphrase, isn't it? Love is strength. Regina found how to love again by loving Henry. Rumpel found Belle again and remembered how it makes you a better person. Snow and Charming continually find each other showing that love triumphs. Emma learned how to trust, to love again thanks to Henry, and finding her family. And... Emma will show Hook how to love again. She will.
