Oliver “Pot meet kettle” Queen & Felicity + Bonus Diggle
↳ Oliver & Felicity Parallels - 1x12 vs 2x06
Yes yes yes. Believe it.
#can we talk about how they literally dont even notice anyone in this moment but each other #oliver and felicity are having a ridiculous argument and literally everyone else may as well not be in the room #barry is speaking directly to oliver and they both don’t even notice him #the only thing oliver sees is felicity and the hurt he feels from her ‘betrayal’ #i think this was the moment when barry really realized he has no chance #they are so in love and they don’t even know it
Why I am not having a meltdown, a summary.
Because he fucking meant it.
1. Oliver knows how Felicity feels about him, he would not purposefully play with her feelings in that way, even to defeat Slade.
2. He never denied it at the end, on the beach. He just smiled as she babbled.
3. Oliver Queen is a terrible liar. Do we not remember the lattes and sports bottles?
ALL. OF. THIS.
If that was how they film a hug imagine how they are going to film their kiss.
There’s not a force on earth that could make you a bad person. #Arrow is all new TONIGHT!
She didn’t even know he came over to help her!
Bradley Cooper and Hugh Jackman are welcome to come rescue me instead. We need more gentlemen like this in the world. <33
Just bringing this back because the Oscars are on this Sunday. Plus, there is no such thing as too much Jennifer Lawrence on your timeline.
As a writer, this episode HURT!
The plot holes - oh, the PLOT HOLES - were horrible. Throwing characters under the bus for what - another character? Not cool.
And people are going to say Oliciter’s didn’t like the episode because it focused on Laurel. See…here’s the thing. It did focus on Laurel, but that wasn’t the problem.
The problem was having Felicity not be able to out-hack a mall-cop for the plot. The problem was Oliver - the ARROW - not sensing the FOUR other guys coming into Laurel’s apartment and them getting the drop on him. The problem was the fact that the swat team arrived two seconds after they were called. The problem was that Oliver once again told Laurel he “knew” her (since when? five years ago?) The problem was that there is no way that Laurel would be able to get called about that patient unless she was family (thank you HIPPA). The problem was that there was a knock down drag out fight for another guy to be killed? The problem was Roy almost killed a guy and they were supposedly keeping tabs on him.
The problem was there were too many things left unanswered. Too many plot holes that weren’t fixed, left gaping open.
There was the lack of the use of the shows strengths. The team, the family, the emotional connections.
That’s what made this episode lackluster. I expect better from Arrow.
Every show has weaknesses, but they shouldn’t be packed into one episode, if put on display at all.
I’m still trying to figure out how there was enough evidence to get a judge to sign a search warrant for a district attorney’s apartment. Was there something huge that I missed, or should I just assume that Blood has a judge in his back pocket?
Well, I didn't understand how she "knew" something was off about him in the first place. I missed something there, I think. And, yeah, I'm not sure, I wouldn't be surprised if he does, but I DON'T KNOW...THEY JUST DON'T EXPLAIN THESE THINGS! (Sorry for the caplocks...) This episode just pissed me off in so many ways tonight.
Sigh. And, no, do not mess with Felicity Megan Smoak. Nope. You do not dumb her down like that.
