I love this sequence. It shows how far Oliver has come and how much Felicity has played a part in making him become who he is. I love this relationship!
This is one of the most important parallels. Felicity has always seen the man and hero Oliver could be - she saw it and believed in him, even when he didn’t, even when he couldn’t. She believed that he could be the hero that his city needed to help save it.
She believed until he could believe it himself.

Oh man, I had so many feeling during this scene. It was so powerful and emotional and Paul and Amell killed it.
And yes, this was hot af.
This was so good. Such a powerful scene and so well done by both actors. This scene was earned and has been building for four years.

Felicity could tell the moment Oliver walked into the new lair that he was hurt more than he’d let on when she’d asked him over the comms.
His wince was the only tell she needed and she was on her feet and at his side in seconds.
“Where?” she asked, keeping her voice as steady as possible.
