AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (y’know i tend to see this as a good ending but perhaps not in angmar’s mind)

How utterly perfect! I’m in love with this eldritch horror, tar dripping, nightmares inducing, too many teeth and hands (especially the hands it is positively terrifying and horrifying and perfect) version of Melkor- I love it. And the references to how his hands have blackened due to the theft of the silmarils so that it’s all of his handssssssssss I love that. Especially the scene wheee he was dragging himself out of the void, and how others react to him is genius

Angmar is 1) brave 2) stupid 3)very devoted 4)jealous as hell but well nothing new under the sun there | I really enjoy having his perspective 😌✨

You even made a little (I choose to see it like that absolutel) angbang dynamic yessss- Melkor’s hands feeling maison ahh- the breaking of hierarchy between them- and their dynamic I am very very happy.

I love that of course he would be interested in having his own little Nazgûl’s and be fascinated that angmar does not fear him but mairon denies him to get one of them. Tbh I loved everything about this prompt so-

Haha, it's only a bad ending for my players since it's probably better for the world in the long term of Morgoth isn't free to knock things off the counter and break them.

I've always really liked interpretations of Morgoth where he can look either like a tall, fair guy OR like a creepy monster whose form fluctuates as he needs it to. I like to think as he loses control over himself emotionally in any direction (Too excited, too angry, too happy), his form slips into something more horrifying. If he's excited to study something new, he might grow twelve eyes to look at it better. If he's angry during a fight, he might grow taller or have more hands to use to his advantage. He doesn't need to put much thought into what form he is taking, but rather it responds unconsciously to his desire.

If anything, appearing normal takes effort.

Morgoth and Angmar really were designed to be two sides of the same coin. They're linked in how possessive they are over things they view as belonging to them. For Angmar at this point in the 4th Age, this includes the rest of the Nine, hence why he assumes a defensive stance in front of them. For both of them, it includes Sauron, hence why they are destined to NEVER get along.

None of the Nine would ever agree to serve Morgoth instead of Sauron. Which is good for them, because Morgoth has a tendency to break his toys.

Your them are always so cute. And Melkor's imagery of having so many hands is so so cool I can't even word.

(btw I didn't know your Melkor design so I kinda used a general Melkor but I'd redraw if you have a particular design for him!)

I did a costest of Mairon today (and an impromptu Almaren-era look, because why not) -- he's ready for con! I'm really happy with how he looks and too excited to wait to share photos until I'm done editing, so have some unedited shots plus two quick memes & the last thing you see when you dare imply Melkor might have not done nothing wrong XD
