My favorite part of the whole holiday special is that, somewhere in Sherlock’s mind, he truly believes Lestrade would help him dig a 120 year old grave for no actual reason.

George is someone who can be relied upon.

Remember that one time when John called Sherlock ‘mate’ and it even confused the hell out of him.

What does John mean to Sherlock. I can’t even imagine how important John is to Sherlock. 

his face in the last one is like ‘okay, yes, good. i have a chance now’

I fell in love with the way you touched me without using your hands. (x)

So if I didn’t understand I was being asked to be best man, it is because I never expected to be anybody’s best friend. And certainly not the best friend of the bravest and kindest and wisest human being I have ever had the good fortune of knowing.
