Today, August 2, is "Herb Day" because of the word "habu. When we think of herbs, we think of basil and thyme, but Japanese herbs such as shiso, mitsuba, yuzu, sansho, and mugwort, which appear on postage stamps, also enhance Japanese food culture.

今日8月2日は｢はぶ｣の語呂合せで、「ハーブの日」だそうです。 ハーブというとバジルやタイムなどをイメージしますが、切手に登場するシソ、ミツバ、ユズ、サンショウ、ヨモギなど和ハーブも和の食文化を引き立ててくれます。

“Is this a diary? Kyosai Kawanabe, an ukiyo-e artist who is popular not only in Japan but also overseas due to his high writing and sketching skills. It seems that Kyosai kept a picture diary for a long time. The source of his painter's life, called "picture enthusiast", was this diary that drew everyday life and continued to draw.”

This is an introduction to the humor book written by Katsuji Matsumoto, but it is more difficult to introduce than the Green Book. Although it is a one-frame manga based on nicknames and catchphrases, it has become quite unique even in the same Japanese as it was 84 years ago, and there are some parts that are difficult to understand. Therefore, I will mainly introduce pages with interesting pictures.

Jiro Taniguchi (谷口 ジロー, Taniguchi Jirō, 14 August 1947 – 11 February 2017) was a Japanese manga writer/artist. His works belong to the gekiga, or "dramatic pictures", genre of manga.[1] In France he was knighted a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2011.

The collection Izanau mono (Tempting Things) includes works in science fiction, historical drama, modern, literary, and other genres, some of which are unfinished.

The world of Chiaki Fujii. 

The witch grandmother tells Cinderella, "At 12 o'clock, the magic will melt. Be careful." Cinderella arrives at the castle in a pumpkin carriage and goes up the stairs. The inside of the castle is in the middle of a ball.

When Cinderella enters the castle, everyone breathes in its beauty. Who is that person? Is it a princess somewhere? I hear the voice. When the prince takes Cinderella's hand, he invites him to dance, and does not let go of Cinderella.

The time passes quickly. The clock of the castle has begun twelve o'clock. It's tough. The magic melts. When Cinderella has to return, she shakes off the prince's hand and runs down the stairs. One of the glass shoes came off on the way, but I can't afford to pick it up.

When I left the castle, the bell at 12 o'clock ended. The dress is worn out. The carriage is a pumpkin. The mouse is a mouse. The horse is a lizard. The magic has completely disappeared.

Makoto Takahashi's series in summer. A beautiful girl with a sunglasses edge like a sugar candy. *Makoto's work has a strong image of a princess, but the fashion sense of everyday wear is really wonderful!

The world of Chiaki Fujii. This summer, when various events have disappeared. Please enjoy the fireworks of Chiaki at least. I will deliver from the picture of the appendix of Showa magazine "Schoolgirl's Friend". A refreshing summer maiden smiles against the backdrop of fascinating fireworks.

Ado Mizumori, an illustrator who is known for her performance of drawing on an acrylic board with both hands while singing a song. Ado's cute illustrations have been loved by children and adults for generations, and many Ado goods (stationery and miscellaneous goods with Ado illustrations) have been produced to date. At this exhibition, the original picture of the cover of "Separate Girl Friend", the secret painting work that Ado has decided to never sell, and the original picture of goods will be released to the public. In addition, more than 700 pieces of "Ado Goods" that have been created since the 1960s to the present are exhibited.

歌を歌いながら、アクリルボードに両手で描くパフォーマンスで知られるイラストレーター・水森亜土。亜土が描くキュートなイラストは、子供から大人まで世代を超えて愛され、亜土グッズ（亜土のイラストがついた文具や雑貨）は、現在まで多数制作されている。  　本展では、『別冊少女フレンド』表紙の原画、亜土が「絶対に売らない」と決めている秘蔵の絵画作品、そしてグッズの原画を大公開。さらに、1960年代から現在に至るまでにつくられた歴代の「亜土グッズ」700点超を展示する。
