So, I drew Geordi, only felt right to also draw Data. i feel like everyone needs to draw him with his maintenance panel exposed at least once. I tried like 20 things here and I'm also massively art blocked so it doesn't really work but I wanted to get this done and there are aspects I like :> The sketch was a lot more fluid, I'm sad I couldn't carry it over to colour, so I included the sketch as well.

I couldn't possibly pass up on the original, it is too cute. So here's my take!

I stayed pretty true to the original although I cropped the pose (for artistic purposes of course not because I was too incompetent to draw the bodies properly no no. Also let's not talk about Data's hand).

I'm pretty sure they just stopped putting the yellow facepaint on Brent Spiners lips in the later seasons but I like the in universe explanation that someone showed Data lipstick and he's been wearing it since.
