Still Not Sure.

Okay, you know those people who take brushmarkers (Copic and Winsor and Newton) and just… blend them seamlessly so there’s not lines showing or breaking up in the character’s skin?

I want that ability so bad.

I mean... I think I’m getting there. And tbh, some markers I am using don’t have the brush nib. Is that a major contributor? Using a bullet nib?
