Capitals Outsider with a writeup of the entire MedStar Hospital visit and more pictures, including:

  • Evgeny Kuznetsov sat with the kids in a table shared with Dmitry Orlov and Michal Kempny. There, they drew portraits of each other. The kids and Kempny burst in laughter after seeing the drawing that Kuztnetsov made of Kempny showing huge ears.
  • Copley had to come over and teach Kuzy how to spell “Pheonix.”
  • Tom Wilson, Andre Burakovsky, Madison Bowey and Chandler Stephenson posed for photos with the kids through the “Flashes of Hope” foundation. They were chatting with the kids and laughing with them. At one point Wilson was victim of an “illegal check to the head” by one of the kids that was posing in the photo with a Stanley Cup sign.
