has anyone else ever had a fanfic that just... haunts them? like it's been months and maybe even years since you read it, but it just lingers with you and you can never truly leave behind the imprint it made on you? and maybe it's just a single line, one sentence that you can't shake off, that takes up residence in your mind and stays there, feeding into your psyche and subtly influencing your brainspace and maybe even your writing or other works?

Is this why people are saying they don't like Maddie? Because she's fucking Caitlyn? Who cares? While our favorite situationship is broken up let her get some dictator pussy. She's even actively discouraging the military occupation. They'll never make me hate you Maddie, at least not from this episode. Without Jayce your plans are fucked Ambessa and you deserve it. Who'd have thought Jinx would be our hero good for her.

Big sis Jinx my beloved, Isha's hair is so freaking adorable she really is a mini Powder.

Daddy's home and her Shimmer instincts and the fact he is her dad are the only reasons Jinx isn't super dead right now

This show is so much fun

“Even discouraging military occupation”

Called Vi “one of the good ones” (was referring to Zaunites, AKA believes that Zaunites being good people isn’t a default, AKA fucking racism)

Literally THE FIRST to agree to Martial Law and is an active participant in chemical warfare

Wasn't she talking about Enforcers? She was talking about how Marcus betrayed them before?

Ok the full quote is “after the Sheriff betrayed us, let’s just say: it’s nice to know there are still good ones left”. But wouldn’t that imply that Vi would be “one of the good enforcers left”? When she wasn’t in fact an enforcer?

It seems to me that they left that scene ambiguous on purpose

After Caitlyn went to bat for her at the precinct it would be safe for her to assume she was joining up at least from Maddie's perspective

jinx sevika and isha dynamic from sevika's pov is so funny because it's you your dead boss's kid that you fucking hate and also a random child with the biggest brown eyes in all of zaun. and the cops want to kill you.

I think that Jinx and Isha's relationship will parallel three separate dynamics:

1) Sibling dynamic - Vi and Jinx. Obvious parallel with Jinx being an older sister this time around. Perhaps it will make Jinx reminisce about her childhood and make her understand how much Vi actually loved her.

2) Parent/child dynamic - Where do I start? Jinx and her mom, Jinx and Vander, Jinx and Silco, Jinx and... Vi (yes, if you didn't notice, Vi was also a motherly figure for Powder after their mother's death). It will possibly make Jinx not just take responsibility but finally realise why parents protect their children at all cost and are ready to give up anything, including their own life.

3) Old/young self dynamic - Jinx and Powder - basically Jinx accepting and loving her younger self through Isha. It is the most important lesson she may learn, actually!

It’s the way Jinx tries to pry Isha off her and the way Isha absolutely will not have it, the whole “scram, kid” in that attempt at a hard voice, how she’d resigned herself to death but now Isha is clinging to her like she’s the only thing that’s real and she’s genuinely scared that if Isha stays glued to her in this moment she’s gonna get hurt, and she meets Vi’s eyes over Isha’s head, and there’s that shock of connection, and it’s Vi, who has been looking down at her sister this whole time, the sister she’d given up as a loose canon and a lost cause, who she’d resigned herself to killing, now seeing her with this kid who found her, needs her, loves her, so much she’s willing to put herself between Jinx and harms way, not even Powder, Jinx, it’s Jinx Isha is protecting, this random kid from the Underground, who’s death is a risk Caitlyn is willing to take to kill the girl who murdered her mother, and Vi can’t let it happen. oh it’s everything

Look at the little changes Jinx made to her work bench compared to season 1.

Look at the little drawing Isha made of them. Isha's got mirror (refrigerator) rights.

The real question now is if Jinx lets Isha watch her do her self-administered first aid, or does she hand Isha the stapler and let her feel useful?

!!!ARCANE SEASON TWO SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Here are some things i noticed about Isha from trailers and the new episodes, and some theories!!

1. Isha is reaching out to someone while being carried away by Sevika, they are presumably reaching out for Jinx during the final battle she has with Vi.

2. Isha means "One who protects.", this is shown by their need to protect Jinx, and how they rushed in to protect her when Vi was about to deliver a final blow.

(One thing about that scene is that i can't tell if Jinx was yelling "No!" at Vi, to stop incase she killed Isha, or at Isha, telling them not to shoot Vi.. So if u know.. Drop a comment 💙)

3. When Isha orginally drops their hat during their first meeting with jinx they go back to get it, but when they need to protect her, they dont even glance at it when it falls off. This might only be a nice detail to me, but i found it sweet.

DROP UR THEORIESS PLEAASEE!! I'd love to talk about themm!!
