Trump voters on tiktok are EXTREMELY mad about the following:

  • They just found out what tariffs are
  • They just found out what denaturalization is
  • They (particularly black and Hispanic trump voters) just found out that other trump voters are racist
  • Leftists and liberals don't want to be their friends (they are furious about this)
  • Leftists keep telling them they hope they get what they voted for (they are really mad about this too)

my one superpower is that i can instantly tell when someone who doesn’t use the word “ya’ll” in their day-to-day speech starts using it to be sanctimonious and folksy on the internet

i can tell you don’t either OP or you’d put the apostrophe in “y'all” where it fucking belongs

It's such an amazing feeling when someone picks up on something in your writing that you 100% intended but didn't think people would notice. Like, YES!! My writing properly conveyed the thing it was supposed to!!! You are so awesome for noticing that!!! I am so awesome for writing that!!! I feel so good about my story now!!!!

The realest part of the Barbie Movie was when Barbie was like "okay but what if this hurts his feelings? what if this makes him sad? :(" after Ken stole her house, stole her car, and stole her agency, because as a woman you still have to second guess everything you do on the assessment of whether it might hurt a man's feelings.

And then that apprehension was proven right one million times over by the entire Conservative Internet Manosphere pissing and shitting and screaming themselves hoarse over Barbie daring to hurt a man's feelings.

Alright, let’s just focus on the last one for a minute: HOW on earth can you say it is not a mental illness? What is your reasoning?

It is a condition of intense distress which requires (according to you, even!) medical intervention to be eased. That sounds like the definition of an illness to me. Trans people’s bodies are usually working fine in their natural state. It is not a problem of physical pain, but of mental distress at the “misalignment of body and mind”. So, literally a mental illness.

And after all, if it wasn’t an illness, WHY would you insist on having hormones and surgeries covered by health insurance? You cannot pretend trans people are perfectly healthy individuals AND also call transitioning “lifesaving treatment”. I hope you are at least lucid enough to see that’s contradictory.

You're talking about gender dysphoria. Assignedmale is talking about trans. Two different things.

Being trans means having a gender identity that doesn't match with society's expectations.

Gender dysphoria is the distress caused when your body doesn't match with your ideal gender.

Roughly half of trans people don't have gender dysphoria. Some non-trans people DO have gender dysphoria.

In addition, there are other things that might not be considered illness (like autism for example, or any life related stress that may not reach the threshold of mental illness like the informal "diagnosis" of SLS), that have associated supports that are covered by healthcare systems, that those in receipt of it may consider very important to their quality of life. So that's not really an argument in support of medicalising any given thing.

Congrats on that TERF for reminding people how messed up and terrifyingly easy it is for psychs to assign any experiences they don't like as unhealthy and delusional, and then to encourage the public to be self-righteously concerned for people whose autonomy they've decided should be limited if not taken away. Surely this isn't relevant to feminism! Surely the psychiatric leopards have shown time and time again that they just pass on by and let women mind their own business!

One of my more outwardly baffling autistic traits is that often I will fully know that you're being sarcastic or joking & I'll just keep talking. I'll respond to it in earnest thinking I'm continuing the bit but I do it too flatly and everybody knows I'm autistic so they'll stop and be like hey that was a joke & I'm like I know

Yeah so anyways, contrary to popular misconceptions and fear mongering spread by bigots, post op trans women's vaginas are amazing actually. 💛

ID: A screenshot from the Reddit post linked, with text reading:

"So I'm going to refute some of the more popular myths about trans women's vaginas by directly describing my own fully healed experience. (I had surgery several years ago using a fairly standard penile inversion technique that used some spare internal mucosa to supplement the vaginal lining. Recovery sucked, but it wasn't that bad.)

  1. Yes, all the normal parts of vaginal anatomy are present. I have a vulva with clitoris and labia, a vagina, I can pee normally, etc etc etc.
  2. No, I don't have visible scars. Some of us do, but they're usually not prominent, especially after a few years. Internally, thing must look quite normal too, since I've passed as cis during a pelvic exam with a speculum.
  3. No, it's not an open wound and it won't heal shut if I don't dilate. It's not a piercing, it's a vagina. I don't dilate at all, and not only do I not lose depth, but I can take a fist if I want
  4. No, I don't have to wash my vagina out. It has its own flora, so douching would generally be a great way to get an infection; luckily, it cleans itself. Yes, it smells and tastes normal.
  5. Yes, I have totally normal sensation in my vagina, clitoris, g spot, etc. Yes, I can orgasm. Yes, I can self-lubricate. Yes, I have totally normal vaginal muscles (the vaginal canal transects the pelvic floor muscles, that's why you can grip and do kegels, though my pelvic floor is stronger than most through a lifetime of kegels).
  6. No, I'm neither immune nor unusually prone to STIs, BV, yeast infections, or UTIs.
  7. Yes, I can cis pass while having sex. No, I don't pre-disclose before casual sex, though I also tend to meet partners in trans-positive environments.
  8. Yes, everything feels like it "should"; nothing feels out of place or misaligned, unlike before surgery, and really the only surprise was how unsurprising everything feels.
  9. No, I don't miss my old equipment at all. I do enjoy wearing a strap on sometimes, but that's pretty common among wlw."

Genuinely, what happened to “feminism is for everyone”?

That’s the feminism I grew up with: encouraging people to recognize that fighting sexism and restrictive gender roles helps folks of every gender. We’d push back on the idea that feminists hate men, pointing to inclusive feminist literature and how many men are feminists.

Now, there are so many people insisting that the solution to patriarchy is to openly hate and ostracize men no matter what. Why? What is the benefit? It’s certainly not effective in fighting oppressive structures to exclude half the population from your cause on the basis of immutable traits. It may feel cathartic to say horrible things about men and try to punish them for your frustrations with patriarchy. But the only actual effect I see is the increasing right-wing radicalization of young men, who are being told that the left hates them for the way they were born and presented with an abundance of proof that it’s true.

Why are we going back to treating men and women as different species? It doesn’t fix things to say “well women are the good gender and men are the bad one” this time. If you sincerely want to dismantle sexism, you’re going to have to unpack and let go of all sex and gender essentialism—even that which considers women inherently pure and men inherently immoral.

Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living

So tempting to keep embarking on the same self destructive cycle over & over & over again . But at some point you have to put ur foot down w ur own behaviors & be the thing that truly saves u

Enough psychoanalysing why people have kinks. We need to psycholanalyse why they don't. Like you don't enjoy getting tied up? Clearly your tumultuous upbringing has given you a patholgical need to be in control at all times. Don't like fauxcest? That's because your petite-bourgeois class background means you view the nuclear family as a pure and sacred institution, automatically reviling anything that undermines or subverts this. Not into piss? That's easy; you're scared of the piss gnomes
