i’m sick of y’all saying ai art is bad and then continuing to use chat bots like c.ai
ITS LITERALLY THE SAME THING!!!! THEY ARE STEALING FROM FANFICTION WRITERS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT! there is active proof of chat bots taking from sites like ao3 and wattpad
“but i can’t find anyone who writes what i want to read!” then write it yourself, or commission a real writer. don’t let these companies profit off of stolen content.
it doesn’t matter if you make the bot yourself, the platform is still using sources like OpenAI and ChatGPT and stealing from writers
unless you literally code the bot from scratch and write all the dialogue yourself, it’s always going to be theft.
not even to mention the sheer amount of water and resources used to generate those responses, ai is environmentally detrimental no matter what form it takes
It's very important that you follow at least one blog run by someone who is unreasonably obsessed with a controversial / oft forgotten /absolutely forgettable side character btw. It's vital to the ecosystem.
