I'll make a formal post about it soon but in case you missed it - knit/crochet commissions are OPEN!! I've got a few examples on my Instagram (hilplusterrors) with sample prices, and can do just about anything from hats to sweaters to stuffies to entire blankets! (Just no socks for now. They have been giving me trouble.) Personalized, color patterned, obscure creations - I'm really versatile and great at figuring out what I'm doing on the go! Just DM me if you've got any questions or want to see samples of things not up on my Insta yet - recently I made several kitties, hats, and even two blankets, and have a lot of stuff from over the years.

Here's a miniature example of my work, this whipped up in about an hour for my cousin and would probably cost $5, up to $10 for lots of colors

These cats and dogs take about a day to make and would be $15 for a single color like the dog or the first cat (variegated yarn, one skein) and $20 for multi-color/pride flag/etc. ones. The pattern is also available as a Word document for $10 (as both are very similar, both the cat and the dog are included in the pattern). Same goes for the turtle up there ^^^, pattern available for $5.

Another puppy! Same pattern as the first, would cost about $20.

Both the garment and the patches were my then-boyfriend's idea because he's just brilliant like that, and i had a lot of fun designing and making these! Rewatched stranger things during the dragons, and worked on the water tribe patch when i was watching Hannibal. Probably $20 to $30 for something like these, more for bigger (they're about the size of my palm, and my hands are a little small) or more complicated, less for something simpler (I'll update with an example Sunday night or Monday)

I, uhhhh.........forgot to update haha. But that's okay! Because at the time i hadn't added the word Artemis yet. The black "shading" on the word and the outline/attachment stitches was my mom's idea. Given the simplicity of this one, I'd charge about $15 for something like it.

A lot of people seem to think that when misogynistic men say feminists are ‘too mean’ they are talking about women saying “all men suck” “kill all men” type of stuff but they are actually talking about women discussing their experiences and talking about misogyny.

You can find countless tweets by men saying that the metoo moment was ‘too mean’ when it’s all just women talking about how they were sexually assaulted by a man and how misogyny caused their experiences to be ignored/downplayed.

They think a woman saying “I was assaulted by a man and the people around me ignored me and defended that man because of misogyny” is a personal attack towards men.

“male loneliness epidemic” and “friendzoning” are similar concepts to me in that the conditions they describe are literally experienced by everyone at some point in their lives but when its men its some sort of profound injustice that needs to be rectified by checks notes giving them unfettered access to the public good that is Women

also the former "epidemic" being taken up in pop discourse explicitly or implicitly as a pathological consequence of feminism having "gone too far" instead of actually doing the work to connect social isolation to existing material conditions....no no don't worry about it just default to blaming women for men's sadness and dissatisfaction bc otherwise you'd have to confront capitalism and misogyny and white supremacy etc. etc. and nobody wants to do that so. its somehow very aggravating and boring at the same time. whenever i see think-pieces that follow this script i instantly fall into a furious slumber

and you just know that half the incel ass boys & men complaining about friendzoning and loneliness have either written off/mistreated "undesirable" girls & women who have shown interest in them in the past, or they have just grown so incapable of seeing girls & women as real human people that they go around treating them like brainless gumball machines whose sole purpose is to dispense sex but only if you press the right conversational buttons. or both. anyway i know where the buttons are and i can reveal them to you for the low price of $90/month. please subscribe bro i promise im not a grifter

nobody has asked but people have assumed so essentially i don't believe that 100% of the gofundmes are fake and i don't believe that 100% of the gofundmes are real and i think it's pretty much impossible to verify which is which because "vetters" are just random ppl on tumblr and some of them have been called out for being fake. its important to me that my money actually goes to help gazans and also i don't have like bajillions of dollars to spare I have to pay rent and eat so the very little i can donate i want to make sure its actually helping people who need help in gaza. also, i can't in good faith share gofundme links when i can't verify if they're real. so, from my standpoint, its just easier to donate to somewhere I KNOW is helping on the ground like anera and encourage people to donate there too.

Honestly I bet Ash would LOVE it if that scarred. Too bad magical girl injuries won't.
