I understand some people don't like the Solavellan ending because they don't like the idea of Lavellan being "imprisoned" with Solas but the thing is the Fade becomes what you imagine. When Lavellan said "it will not be terrible if you are with me" that was literal. If they are together, their love can build a kingdom out of a prison. A paradise. Populated by gentle dreams and benevolent spirits and at least a dozen babies and it lasts forever so I'm on cloud 9 with this
Veilguard, continuously, throughout the game: You cannot save everyone. Great sacrifices are sometimes necessary. Your friends may die for you without you ever asking them to. You can do everything right and still fail

The funniest part of Dragon Age: the Veilguard is Solas betraying you like three separate times in the span of an hour and yet SOMEHOW I will still kinda surprised each time

If there was one scene I wish we could see, it would be the aftermath immediately after Rook is taken into the fade by Solas.
Davrin or Harding are dead. Bellara or Neve are gone. And the remaining team members watch Rook just disappear into nothing, and there's five of them left in the rubble. And it's all so quiet
How long did that quiet last? Before Taash finally broke it with a shaking "What the fuck just happened?" Who was the first one to scream for Rook? Davrin? Harding? Emmrich? Neve? Bellara? Taash? Lucanis? Whoever it was had to be dragged away. They wouldn't stop looking. They weren't dead. Dammit, Rook isn't dead.
And Taash or Lucanis looked for Lace and Davrin too, despite what they all saw, what they all know. They looked and looked and looked and there was nothing left.
I just wanna see how that went down. I wanna know what they said

Y'know, I know a lot of people were disappointed by Lucanis' romance, and I did NOT romance him (I romanced Davrin) but I did get him to max approval platonically and I gotta say. On the just the platonic route, it was very clear that Lucanis cares about you? Dare I say loves?
I just see people who keep saying "Lucanis doesn't care about Rook. He doesn't even talk to me" but maybe it was just how I was playing but Lucanis felt like my Rook's best friend very quickly. He's checking in. He makes you your favorite coffee. He comes rushing to your side in the final fight before ANYONE else. He comforts you. He's constantly saying you're his friend and he'll protect you. Idk man, I understand being disappointed in a romance but saying that Lucanis just wants nothing to do with Rook seems like an overreaction. I didn't even romance the man and felt like he cared about my Rook more than most other companions

Something about Davrin just fucking hurling this rock at this venatori is so funny to me. This happens in the finale of the game, and while I'm gonna keep this as non-spoilery as possible this man just fought a fucking colossal goddamn statue and singlehandedly brought it down, he pops out of the rubble like a jack-in-the-box and then just chucks this rock at this dude. He's so goddamn tired of this shit. Imagine being part of a magic eugenicist cult and dying via rock. So embarrassing. I love Davrin so much
