Saito waited to order, relieved that Chizuru had begged off to the ladies room. He paid, collected and sat with their steaming cups, his own choice something he didn’t often allow himself.

Chizuru reappeared, taking the seat next to Saito; anxious to keep her hands busy, she plucked up a drink and took a sip. Realizing it wasn’t her order, she blushed and offered it to Saito who had turned quite red.
