Shirayuki rubbed her hands and held them over the small fire Obi had built. “That was fast, thanks.”

Still kneeling and feeding twigs into the leaping flames, Obi smiled. “I knew you’d need warming.”

Shirayuki mumbled, “…fire’s good but not my first choice.”
