Try it on a different canvas!
Sometimes people tend to draw on paper and trace said drawing onto procreate because it feels more natural to them, but the problem arises when they press the photo option and draw over the photo without inserting it onto a canvas beforehand.

Inserting the photo onto an 11” x 8.5” canvas before tracing over it:
Big difference, huh?
Not only do you have a wider range, you can also add more specific details without it looking choppy!
