I’ve been watching botbots and looking at those posts where people change well known transformers into botbots, and it got me wondering:
Is…is botbots an adaptation of the original transformers? Like, are the characters supposed to play the roles of the transformers we know?
For example: Burgertron as Optimus, Spud muffin as Megatron, Ulf as Elita, Bonz-eye as Prowl or Windblade, Dimlit as Bumblebee, so on and so forth.
It’s a very reach-y observation but it’s pretty interesting to think about, especially considering the correlations in the story. Namely:
Burgertron used to look up to Spud muffin/they used to be friends
The mall was delegated to certain castes that you couldn’t really break out of
Burgertron went from a nobody to being praised by everyone, and became leader in the future (also that time he did the freedom speech)
The lost bots are akin to the early autobots/decepticons
The relationship between Ulf and Burgertron
Spud muffin is revealed to have always been against burgertron, and is outcast from society (pulling things from all transformers continuities)

I just think it’s pretty interesting, but it’s almost certainly wrong lmfao
