And the Alistair rework is (finally) done 🫠 This one gave me by far the most trouble. I had to rework the lighting which made me have to pretty much repaint his armor AND I made the original painting on the wrong color profile and had to spend forever color correcting when switching it over to the right one 🥲

The Zevran rework is also already in progress (and going much more smoothly lol)

"Death before Detransition" does not mean that I will kill myself if I can't access hormones or be referred to by my preferred language.

It means that there will always be another way. There will always be a stockpile, or distributors, or ways to synthesize the medicine we need. And even if that fails, there will always be community. There will always be identity. There will always be expression, and identity, or some piece of the trans experience, whether it be societal, physiological, or even completely internal, in perpetuity, that lives through every transgender person.

"Death before Detransition" means that the only way to erase my reality as a transgender woman is to put me in the ground.

We'll talk damage control and ways to help in the coming days and weeks. I welcome input on the topic as well- if there's a cause you want recognition for that will suffer under the new administration, let me know.

I don't normally make political posts but after the last 24 hours I felt had to say something, especially towards those who voted for Kamala Harris.

I'm both heartbroken and angry as fuck for you all knowing that the next four years (and beyond) is going to be a real shit show especially for women and the LGBTQIA+ community. You all deserve to live authentic and truthful lives as well as have the freedom to do as you please with your bodies. Yet here we are staring down barrel of a gun loaded with fascism, racism, homophobia and misogyny to name a few ready to be fired at us come January 2025. I might not be an American, but the decision thats been made today will have repercussions for the entire world and thats terrifying right now. So to anyone who voted for that shitbag... fuck you. You've just turned back the clocks on a lifetime of political and historical decisions that will impact all of us and future generations for decades to come.

Today is going to be rough for so many people. It's going to be rough for you. There are things you can't change today.

But you can take care of yourself. Eat breakfast, drink water, take a long shower, put on clean clothes/favorite clothes. Checking in on the politics as needed, rather than wallowing in them all day. Put on a comfort movie or show, and watch that for a while. Focus on your job if you have to be there today. Reach out if you need help.

You can also check in on your friends- making sure they have eaten and had water and showered and have something comforting. Reach out if they might need help. The only way out of this is through, and we need each other to get there.

We will have a long fight ahead of us for the next 4 years. We would have had a long fight ahead of us regardless of who won; only the kind of fight would have been different. This is the fight we have: survival and damage control. Not the fight we wanted, but it is what it is, and we're still going to use tooth and nail.

Today is Day 1.

Today is checking with your clerk's office, if you mailed your ballot, to ensure your ballot got counted. Today is weathering the despair. Today is taking care of yourself and checking on your loved ones to make sure they have what they need to weather Day 1 with you.

Tomorrow is resolving to vote in the next local elections to aid in damage control, and planning the next steps.

Survival and damage control.
