I don’t think we appreciate enough what a truly monumental thing it was for the Doctor to settle down with River on Darillium. This is the Doctor we’re talking about. Getting them to stand still for more than five seconds is next to impossible. And yet they were happy to give up travelling and spend 24 years on the same planet, just to be with her.

I know there’s wasn’t many mentions of River in the special (or they were at least very very subtle) but when I watched the special in cinema there was a piece before the special where Moffat mentioned his favorite episodes in his era, and he talked about how he liked THORS because it was about “two people who love each other, but is never quite sure whether the other person loves them back” so that’s pretty much the first time he’s said out loud that the Doctor loves River, so that’s nice??

New photos of Jodie Whittaker and gang has been released,and as much as I am excited to see her 13th Doctor on screen, I have finally come to realise that I will miss Peter Capaldi like hell.
So here’s a tribute to my 2nd favourite Doctor and both his wives, River Song and TARDIS, a distant memory of my favourite Christmas Special Husbands of River Song.
