Ok but when i say that Eda (and Lilith's) curse is a metaphor for neurodivergency/mental illnesses/disorders ... the REALNESS of Eda and Gwendolyn's relationship man. Like the way a mother's love can be suffocating sometimes, the way she kept searching for a "cure" even when Eda had found a way to make her curse manageable. And she spent so many years in denial like some kind of essential oil healing crystal mom to realize that what she has, even though it's a curse and inherently bad, is a part of her, and it needs to just be accepted. Damn.

No bc be honest this is what we all with neurodivergency/mental illnesses really want, right? Not a cure but to be understood and accepted and loved ?? And it might took Gwendolyn YEARS to come to acceptance but she finally did, so she's OUR owl grandma indeed 😌
