My Turning Page

I have finally finished Maxiana and Cullen’s story. It’s bittersweet for sure and I hope that the inspiration to write more of their journey comes to me in the future.

This is my very first fanfiction, my first time writing anything really. How I managed to get the courage to post it in the first place is still a mystery but because of Maxiana I have met some incredible people and made some amazing friends.

For those of you who have been following along, reading their story, leaving comments, giving kudos and likes, or reblogging my content for them, THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart I thank you. You have made this experience a truly incredibly one!

As for what’s next… I honestly have no idea. I have a few things that I had started quite some time ago and maybe I’ll get back to those or maybe I’ll try something entirely new. Who knows? I have a healthy amount of OCs at this point so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where inspiration strikes.

It’s No Problem

I’m in the car for a bit and thought of this little something and wanted to share it. Hope you enjoy it!

Each time Maxiana’s finger circled around her hair, twirling it around the surface of her digit, it caught his attention. It was a bad habit according to her and she was trying to stop doing it so often. But when they were working quietly and diligently on reports and letters she just couldn’t help herself. Her hand rose up again and she scoffed when she caught herself.

“What’s wrong?” Cullen asked her already knowing the answer.

“Oh, nothing,” she dismissed with a short wave of her hand before focusing back on her work.

Rising up from his chair, he grabbed a purple ribbon from the pile nearby, the ones her scrolls were usually tied with, and pulled her hair back to tie it away from her face. When he took back his place, her eyes were wide on his and her face was slightly pink.

“H-how... how did you know to tie my hair back?” She finally asked him, clearly surprised by his careful handy work.

“Rose,” he shrugged. “Her and I were the closest and she always wanted her hair tied back when we’d play outside. I thought perhaps if it was away from your face you’d be less likely to reach for it.”

Her smile was wide as she said, “thank you.”

“It’s no problem.”
