Halamshirale shenanigans be happening! Chapter 19 is done!
Eryn/Alexandra
Thank you for the ask.
-
- They're both terrible when it comes to themselves eating food. But once they catch whiff that the other had not been eating in the past few days, all hell breaks loss.
- Alexandra keeps Eryn pinned by cuddling her close and giving her the "Inquisitor stare".
- Eryn locks up Alexandra's pens and parchment and reports until she eats something.
- She does get red though that regardless of what she does, she's seems to always be on Alexandra's lap.
- That however does not mean that Alexandra is against sitting on Eryn's. She quite does, especially if she needs some hugs.
- They both kiss their self-made scars every morning and every night.
- Eryn quite enjoys playing with Alexandra's long hair, watching as her fingers slide through the thick curls easily.
- Alexandra enjoys picking Eryn up to lavish her reddening face in kisses.
- Eryn is almost always the small spoon when it comes to cuddling. The times where she isn't is at moments like Adamant or when Alexandra first looses her hand.
- I feel like Eryn has a big sweet tooth, which puts Alexandra's baking skills to good use.
- Alexandra almost every other day makes Eryn her favorite treats, especially if she sees her going back to a normal eating and sleeping schedule.

After what has probably taken way to long I have something! I was tagged by @morganaseren some time ago for this and here’s what I have.
It’s part of a story where Teagan became a healer in Castle Cousland a few years before the Blight where she and the Couslands youngest daughter, @noeldressari‘s Eryn, fall for one another. The first part is the begginigng with another little scene later on of them talking to each other about Teagan’s magic.
Salt and sea was the first thing to hit Teagan’s nose when she had made it to Highever. The town was still as lively as people bustled selling their wares. And her smile faltered. She felt her stomach knot and turn at the memories of being here, of running in the streets as her father worked. Of how she would play with other kids but when one got a little too physical with them, she had used her magic. Magic she knew her parents had told her to be careful of.
“You look distracted, dear.”
Teagan blinked away the thoughts, glancing over a bit at the older mage with her. “Just memories, Wynne, it’s fine.” Teagan saw her brow raise and stopped her knowing what would come next. “It’s fine, I promise. I won’t do anything like run away. I don’t even know if they stayed here. So, I’m fine.”
“I know you won’t, dear. I would never have suggested you for this placement. But I do worry that you feel guilty for what happened.”
Teagan shook her head and gave a mirthless laugh. “I was a child then, Wynne. I know I would never have really been able to hide my magic, it could do so much good, I want to help others with it.“
Wynne hummed as they continued up to the castle.
Teagan felt a warmth to the castle she hadn’t expected, one she hadn’t felt since she was a child. And upon meeting the Teyrn, she felt that warmth tenfold. He had shaken both her and Wynne’s hand, showing them about the castle. He even insisted that she call him Bryce over Teryn.
Alexandra walking around her room trying to get ready to go out into the field with Eryn constantly clinging to her begging her not to leave and grumbling for her to come back into bed where its warm
Eryn would be one of the few people who can make Alexandra relent and rest for a little while, I imagine. If Alexandra had helped her step away from her suicidal tendencies, there aren’t many things Alex will deny her. But, she does say she still have to go. But they can cuddle for an hour or two.
Eryn tying up Alexandra, and she thinks it's gonna be rough, but it turns out to be the softest soft worship-fest. She straddles her and goes to her neck, but only grazes her skin ever so slightly with her teeth and gives her sweet delicate kisses across her body. Doing the same with her breasts, and worshiping every scar and "imperfect" part of her she can find. Taking her sweet time with the strap, teasing her entrance a while before slowly pushing in and holding her close, kissing her and asking how shes doing, and moving as slow as possible before pounding into her. Keep going until she's spent then untying her, kissing her wrists and ankles before cuddling her so soft like the cute little cuddle bug she pretends not to be.
Alexandra raises this by offering Eryn to keep the strap inside her while they cuddle. But Alexandra does her best not to cry a little, because of how soft Eryn is and how happy Alexandra seems to make her. She does take Eryn's face in her hands once her wrists are freed and strokes her cheekbones, whispering how lovely and amazing she is, how Eryn is worthy of affection and love, even if she thinks not.
15 in the kisses prompt list for Eryn/Alexandra?
Thank you for the ask.
15. soothing kisses
Nightmares often came to Eryn; dreams of death and blood, of the Darkspawn and of Highever on that faithful night back during the early days of the Fifth Blight. Nightmares she could deal with, even as she woke up in a cold sweat, gasping and trembling, the fire in her heart wrangled in a coiling whip of outrage. Outrage at herself, mostly. There always seemed to be a steady supplied of that. Eryn did not know if she should be grateful.
Probably not, she thought dryly.
Shifting in the bed, Eryn groaned as she realize sleep would not come from her soon. She could handle that. She rather be awake than sleeping. Though her senses did dull, months of little sleep taught her body to be alert even when it was not necessary. Every subtle creep of feet upon the ground, every rustle of branches overhead by the faintest of winds, prickled her ears, tightened her shoulders, hands easily drifting to the daggers at her waists, if need be.
But she was in a bed, she had to remind herself. And all her daggers were tucked in the next room, by order of the Inquisitor no less. She felt oddly bare without them, despite her tunic and breeches she were clad in. An itch crept into her hands, whispering of the desire to feel leather on skin, the soft murmur of steel blade scrapping against the leather scabbard as it was unsheathed. It itched, but Eryn stayed her hand.
The screams echoing in her mind, the scurrying Darkspawn beneath the Frostbacks echoing faint and distant, far off but still there, it rolled over and over again, even as streams of silver moonlight flowed through the windows that felt from upmost wall to floor. Drifts of dust glimmered like stars in the air, floating freely, without restraint or care. That sounded nice to Eryn, in truth, to just drift and be free, without worry or care or blame.
"You're aren't sleeping," mumbled Alexandra, whose arm twined around her waist and drew Eryn close into a soft, but firm hold. Eryn fought the blush coming to her cheeks as Alexandra's bare breasts pillowed against her back, the scent of vanilla filling her senses, both sharpening and soothing her mind. It drowned out the screams, the gurgles, the death of night. Until there was only Alexandra. Only Alexandra would be Heaven on earth.
"Can't," replied Eryn, trying to keep her voice from wavering. "But I will, don't worry."
She heard a low humming from Alexandra, a sign that told Eryn the Inquisitor did not believe her. "Nightmares?"
Swallowing, Eryn nodded, though she knew Alexandra could not see her. "Yeah. But it's fine, Alexandra, really." Scoffing to herself, she murmured, "Why is it always when we're in bed when we have heartful conversations."
"Because you are bare to me, and I to you?" replied Alexandra. Eryn could hear the smile on the woman's lips, and Maker did that make her want to kiss her in frustration. Alexandra had that odd effect.
"Very funny," mumbled Eryn, as she turned to face Alexandra, her own arms twining around the woman's waist, trying not to peer down at the woman's breasts nor the rise of her curvy hip. Eryn could be a gentlewomen if she wanted too. But Maker did Alexandra look pretty. Even in the shadows of night, those green-golden eyes, like a fire nestled beneath the dark waves of a sea, burned bright and soft.
Alexandra did not say anything, even as she continued to smile. For a moment she was smiling, then the next her lips were against hers, straggling a moan from the thief and pushing warmth to her cheeks. Stupid pretty mage. Got me off guard. Despite those words, affection tingled in her mind. She's too damn for her own good, and too good for me.
The Inquisitor must had known what she was thinking, because she drew Eryn closer until they were flushed together. Her hand rested in the nape of Eryn's neck, the Warden's own thumb drawing circles into the skin of her waist. As she kissed her, however, the worries and terrors of the night bled away. Her mind became fogged, mushy and glimmering with the only light of emerald twined gold.
When they pulled away, Alexandra's lips were lightly brushed from Eryn's soft nibbling. But Alexandra did not give herself a moment of reprieve, nor did she give it to Eryn, before she was kissing her again. This time, with more firmness and a softness that burnt away lust. "The nightmares won't hurt you," said Alexandra, in a soft and loving tone that warmth blossomed in thick bursts in Eryn's heart. "It's okay. I will be here for you, and I will catch you."
Swallowing thickly, her throat suddenly clogged, Eryn nodded. Maker, she really was too good for her. But a look from Alex halted those thoughts in its tracks, and smiling as much as she could mustered, she nuzzeled her face into Alexandra's neck. Raveling in the scent of vanilla touched with something Eryn could not describe, sleep came easily and sweetly, and only in the morning did she remember, Alexandra appearing in her dreams in a white dress in a meadow, where only her, Eryn, and peace ruled.
A world Eryn prayed she would ever be worthy of.

As far as knives, I'm afraid Alexandra is going to have to be disappointed in this. As far as straps on the other hand.... 👀
Lol. That is sad, but the straps are nice alternative. Though the angst...lol. Tho that leads to the question: Has eryn ever killed someone with a strap? lol
I'd like to retract the previous statements made by a foolish intern and replace them with the official statements: Eryn does not assassinate Alex, ever, in any situation. As her writer I have the final say in this. Eryn never assassinates Alexandra. Ever. If she ever makes the attempt, they are unsuccessful and Eryn dies from it first.
Impossible. As jurisdiction of Alexandra, she would quite like to be stabbed by Eryn, either by strap or knife.
Eryn showing up at night to assassinate an evil!Alexandra for abusing her power and such, or the other way around?
Hm. I can see Eryn doing it, especially if she would think Leliana or Teagan could be hurt from it - though I doubt Alexandra would do that to either of them. Better safe than sorry. lol
Does your ocs have any hobbies or interest that they refuse to tell anyone?
Talia is secretly into woodcarving. She started during the Blight and it was originally just something to keep her hands busy(and to give herself something to do other than sleep, cause nightmares arent fun) but she eventually grew to genuinely enjoy it. She's made several carvings for Leliana, and when she was with the Dalish they showed her how to craft a bow, and she did make one for Leliana as well. Even though it wasn't the best, Leliana still used it happily, knowing it was made personally by Talia.
Eryn is secretly a poetry writer. She used to steal books of it from her fathers library and look through them, and although most writing and reading bored her, poetry was somehow more interesting. It felt less like boring information to be copied down, and more like a puzzle to be solved, an uncharted region to be explored. It was also a way to express the darkness inside her that she couldn't say herself. It was easier to hide her anguish in clever metaphors and words with deeper meanings only she understood.
Royal AU Eryn sneaking through the window into the princesses room late at night and quietly slipping into bed with Alex
The princess feigns surprise, mocking calling for the the guards in a whisper while she wraps her in her arms and legs, telling her to get comfortable because she does do cling.
But I raise this to say Eryn finds Alex in a sheer shift and no smallclothes beneath. 👀
spots to kiss + 15 + Alexandra?
Thank you for the ask. I will be using Eryn for this. Sorry if she isn't a hundred-percent accurate.
15. a kiss on the jawline.

Alexandra enjoyed seeing Eryn blushed, especially when she was on her lap and she had no possibility of escape. There was something having the "dreaded" Dark Wolf scrumming as Alexandra played with her, leaving her wanting of more, whispers of promises that Alexandra would be sure to give away...when she decided the time was right. The added bonus of getting her cheeks red as a berry was a more of an incentive for Alexandra, in truth. "Alex," growled Eryn, her voice a tilt breathless and raspy. Dark brows furrowed as sharp clips of ice melted away as Alexandra nibbled where her neck met her shoulder, licking at the mark and laying a kiss there as she smiled. Eryn tried to grind against her thigh, but Alexandra halted her with a slight pressing of her fingers, and another whine left her Warden's lips. "Yes?" Her smile could not fade away, even if she had wanted too. Seeing Eryn like this always got her heart racing and her blood pumping, the thrill of life filling her as much as any battle could. And, Maker, did Eryn blush so prettily that it was hard to even want to stop. She could feel Eryn's nails dig deeper into her tunic, no doubt leaving their own marks for Alexandra to deal with tomorrow. She only paid them half-a-mind. Any mark she could bare if it meant seeing Eryn like this - or seeing her smile, for another thing. Eryn's smile was some of her favorite things...especially after certain vigorous activities. That thought only caused Alexandra's pleasure to grow, and it seemed Eryn noticed as she grind again, irritant and growing red by the moment. Smiling, Alexandra leaned forward, grazing her lips up along Eryn's jaw. Despite her appearance of residence, Eryn readily tilted her head to give the Inquisitor space, one Alexandra took readily. Her tongue swept gently over the sharpness of Eryn's jaw, lavishing kisses here and there, a few marks speckled in. Through the hard puffs of air coming from the Warden, Alexandra could hear the slight inclination of breath, and the soft whisper of moans coupled with gasps. And Alexandra allowed time to fade away, only letting in the rapid pulse of Eryn, her breaths and sighs and gasps and moans, and only her. Her dark hair and grey eyes, like storms thawing by the warmth of sunlight, bright and dark, soft and hard; and Alexandra adore it all, everything about Eryn, even if she could not see spring that came with the storm. Well, than Alexandra would have to show her, would she not? And it was with that thought that allowed Alexandra to give her love a moment of reprieve, and slip a hand into her breeches, her fingers pressing at the places Alexandra knew Eryn would come undone and the spring could be found.

Eryn Cousland Aesthetic
Made a nice little aesthetic for my problem child Eryn and @this-is-something-idk-what‘s sweet baby Teagan. I still love the ship between these two
It’s so lovely and fits them so well 😍😭
30 for Eryn/Alexandra?
30. “I’m never going to leave you again. I promise.”

Eryn woke in a sweat, her blood chilling as the night wind whipping against the glass frames of the balcony doors. Thick darkness swarmed the bed chambers, with only a few glimmer of orange-gold slashing across the high ceiling with weak groping fingers from the dying embers within the stone hearth.
A shrill of ice crawled up her spine, shivers biting at her skin; the brittle cold breath of the Frostbacks seemed to have crawled their way through the enchanted warmed stones of Skyhold, stealing the air from her lungs. In her ears ranged the skin-cutting bite of a storm’s wind, carrying the cries of death and the roar of fire and ash. She could still see the outline of amber burning the underbelly of black clouds a molten scarlet, with spears and swords and great axes of flame, cutting Haven down until it was charred ash and melted stone. Than the winter stole its light for the last time, and she could still feel the shake in her bed. It could had stolen more than just Haven...
Eryn jumped as she felt an arm wrapped around her waist; and had it not been for the scent of vanilla and lilacs, Eryn would had groped for her knife and stuck it into the person’s side. But the scent stayed her hand, calmed her rapid heart, melted the frost in her bones. Without her knowing, she leaned back against the woman, curving so she could fit snug in her hold. Alexandra’s chin rested on her short black hair. “You’re shivering,” whispered Alexandra, arms tightening around her waist. Warmth pummeled through Eryn’s limbs, and she could see the still darkness grow gray with slivers of gold from Alexandra’s magic. She could not keep the sigh content from leaving her lips.
“I’m fine. Just cold.” She shifted a little, trying to move both away and still be close to Alexandra. Having her arms wrapped around her felt too good for Eryn. Alexandra deserved better, yet she gave her everything and more. And what could Eryn give in return? She was broken, a woman half-dead and half-alive. She could not even protect her at Haven. Tears welled in her eyes.
Eryn was slowly turned around, warm hand with slender fingers brushing escaped tears from her cheek. “You’re crying.” Despite the thickness of sleep in her voice, Alexandra’s eyes were awake, shining in the gray-black darkness with emerald eyes burning with a golden flame, like dawn peaking from across a grass-studded hill. Alertness and concern poured from that stare, and all Eryn wanted to do was kiss her, and be held by her. Maker, she was close to.
Clearing her throat, fighting the threatening shakiness that sought to escape. Somehow, she kept it more clear and stable than she expected. “Just a dream.”
“What was it about?” There was no room for sly-stepping. Her voice was tilted with that of Inquisitor Trevelyan. To lie to her now or hide the truth would like going into a viper’s nest and expecting not to be bitten.
Eryn swallowed and glanced down at Alexandra’s pale neck. It did look quite cozy to slid into... But she kept herself as further away as possible, but not too far that she would fall off the bed. The distinct murmur of cold still grasped at her heart, tearing it with harsh frozen slashes. The screams still culled her blood, even as it dwindled away at the sight of Alex’s eyes. “Haven.”
The word lingered in the still air like thick smoke, and Eryn could see the darkening of Alexandra’s eyes at the name. “Oh...you thought of me dying, didn’t you?”
Cursing to herself, she nodded. “There were a few more deaths...but you were the primary focus, yeah.” Swallowing the air took as much effort as swallowing a rock. She wet her lips and tore her gaze away from Alexandra’s stare. Her eyes squeezed shut. Still, the heat of Alexandra’s stare was still upon her.
Suddenly, she was pressed against something warm and soft, with that sweet scent of vanilla and lilacs. Eryn’s eyes opened to find her stare at pale skin, glimmering faintly from the glow of spun magic. “I’m never going to leave you. I promise,” whispered Alexandra in her hair, her fingers stroking locks, playing with it every once and a while. “Not even when the sun burns out and the moons are swallowed by darkness will I ever leave you, Eryn.”
And for the first time in a long while, Eryn Cousland wept.
Eryn being trapped in the fade with constant nightmares of Alexandra dying in horrific ways
And Alexandra tears a hole into the Fade to save her love, and she cuddles them for hours on end, using magic to mend and heal the memories while always being by her side.
Does either of your ocs know how to bake?
No. Talia tried to learn a bit from Nan when she was younger, but as she got older she became too absorbed in fighting. Eryn never bothered to try and learn, and was always stealing pies and sweet cakes off the cooling racks to satisfy her sweet tooth. But they’re both eager to learn if their s/o is willing to teach.
This just means Amayia has to give Talia some extra training, as does Alex with Eryn. ;3
