pera palas'ta gece yarısı writers, i’ve never asked for anything in my life. but please. please, an indulgent episode of esra and halit in 2022 where she’s showing him her world, and it’s like look! a tv! let’s watch a film (casablanca) look! my phone! let’s take cringe couple pics. let’s go to a mall, you need current clothes. and it’s a montage of halit trying out every possible outfit. and, okay. he likes coffee but the fuck is a pumpkin spice latte? then, a little dinner date. and esra is like do you want italian, sushi, indian, maybe some american burgers? and halit is like. yes. so they have a full on spread of every possible new food halit hasn’t tried yet. and maybe, he eats a pint of haagen dazs while esra has an agatha christie documentary on that she felt asleep to. and they’re all cozy in her sofa, in her apartment. thank you for coming to my ted talk

i know we've all been trying to figure out how the new timeline in which 1919 halit (instead of leaving sonya in 1920 and disappearing in 1925) travels to 1941 works with sonya's pregnancy, but while doing my rewatch i couldn't help but feel like halit realizes here that sonya is with child? like the possibility of it clicks right then and there in halit's mind when ahmet mentions it?
