to me nandermo is canon. and watching both of these complicated characters interact for 5 seasons, it's just been so obvious that they are so incredibly, irrevocably connected by just the little things. you are my best... man. i know you better than anyone. the you're a vampire speech from the citizenship ep. once my familiar, now my bodyguard, forever my friend. etc. my point is they've been playing a will they wont they for 5 seasons but its not the same as destiel. they haven't been joked about in the same derogatory way. it's not queerbait, it's not a good representation of queer relationships it's just a representation of two complicated people. and it's obvious enough that they care about each other and theyre really special to each other and that they are still just trying to stay together.
