n is for nothing in the world could have ever prepared james potter for realising that peter had sentenced him, his wife, his baby to death. peter pettigrew, always a bumbling happy little boy, somewhat insecure, somewhat oddly placed between james and sirius, but nevertheless a true friend, a real brother. james loved him and would have gone to the ends of the earth to protect pete, would have died to save him if he were given no other choice. but peter, peter willingly left his best friend, wife and child to voldemort. nothing could have ever surpassed the weight of james’ heart as he realised, the last thoughts that raced through his mind as he fell to the floor. his trust had never faltered.

unpopular opinion time: i really hate how peter is always left out of marauders edits (+ hardly has any of his own) and yet there’s thousands of edits for every single death eater (including the ones we barely have any info about), voldemort, and even umbridge???? like yeah, peter was a shitty person who deserved everything he got but before that, he was a marauder and tbh, the marauders are not really the marauders if you exclude him.

Peter’s phone is made up of pictures of landscapes. He has no pictures of his friends or family and prefers to immortalise only beautiful places that mean the most to him, including Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest. He is the smallest of the Marauders, often overlooked or left behind, but he doesn’t mind; the solitude can be peaceful and allows him to reflect in silence.

Okay but the marauders having snap chat

james’s snapchat would be just random pics of his daily life. he wakes up? grabs his phone, takes a pic of the ceiling and captions it “bright and early.” french toast for breakfast? swipes left, gives it a fancy filter, and bam. there’re also way too many pictures and embarrassing videos of him and the marauders + lily with random filters on them. lily and he have a running streak of like 400 and they’ve sworn to hex/punch the one who breaks it. once james almost forgot and he sprinted a mile to grab his phone and send the “gn streaks” message. 

sirius’s snapchat would be...that one snap that you envy. he snapchats hanging with the marauders, his dates, going to hogsmeade (or six flags depending or not this is a modern au idk), his “dog”, food, everything. oh and he just roasts everyone, it’s great. sometimes plays around with filters and manages to look super hot no matter what. has a streak with everyone. literally everyone. no one knows why.

remus’s snapchat is a Quality snap. doesn’t really care for streaks, but lives up to the snapchat motto of “Life's more fun when you live in the moment!” Posts quotes, aesthetic views from his travels, pictures of food that make you drool, pictures of friends’s silhouettes, the like. it’s really something to admire. except for when he gets drunk. or when one of the friends hack him. once sirius took a pic of him with the dog filter and remus posted it for laughs. it. was. monumental.

peter’s snapchat is that one snap that no one knows exists. so he’ll mention it in passing and people will be like “no way, you have a snap!” he’s friends with everyone on snap, even people he barely knows in real life. tries to have streaks, but ends up forgetting about them, all the time, always. screenshots conversations for no seeming reason. posts videos of his mates and pictures of food. doesn’t do selfies, but has a lot of selfies of the other marauders - mainly sirius. your Average snap, basically.
