Sunset Boulevard
Chapter 1. (Clean version). Xunshine and Nightkiller
“Nighty! I’d like you to meet my boyfriend!”
Synopsis: ’Dream was so sure that Cross might have been the one. Even in the short time they’d been together, he would have told you that things had been perfect. But when a past history between Nightmare and Cross is revealed, it throws a wrench in the works and sets into motion a series of events that spiral relationships out of control. With things crashing down around them, it’s hard to say if things will ever find a balance again.
P2: Perhaps Cross wouldn't have been so nervous meeting Nightmare if he'd known they'd already met.
Clean version: Below the cut.

It was a good morning! The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and couples were happily walking out enjoying the sun. A good day, and an important one at that.
After just under a year of blissfully dating his boyfriend, it was time Dream introduced him to his twin, Nightmare.
The golden skeleton hummed and skipped down the hallway, as he and his boyfriend approached Nightmare’s flat.
Now that breakfast was eaten and a few more kisses shared, the two of them were almost at their goal.
Dream was nervous of course but he was also more than thrilled to have two of his favourite people finally meet.
He knew Nightmare was never fond of meeting his partners….always sneering and belittling them. Staring them down as if they were something unpleasant he found on his shoe. He seemed to have a knack for nit-picking and pointing out problems with men
Sometimes, it almost felt as if he didn’t want Dream to have a successful relationship.. which was silly… Dream knew deep down that Nighty worried about his well-being, and just had a funny way of showing it.
“Look! That’s Nighty’s door!” The small skeleton squeaked in excitement as flat number 242 came into view. This was it! He knew that surely his brother would be able to see how wonderful of a man Cross was.
Maybe the two would see that they have more in common than differences and become friends! Both put up a cold front, easily flustered and irritated, and both appeared to push others away as a defence mechanism. But both could be sweet and kind! He just hoped his twin brother could see past Cross’ tough guy act.
