Greek gods au 2024 redraw!

Helllooo!!! It's finally done, this took wayyyy too long to do.

I redrew this art from 2021 and I am always taken aback by how much my art changes every time I do one of these redraws.

I decided to completely rework this scene and finally give these two a well-deserved design update, these will be their new cannon designs, and I will hopefully draw a reference for them.

I really hope you guys like this because I do!! Thank you so much for everything this past year!

I am in love with his musical. I was very lucky to get to go and see The Phantom of The Opera at His Majesty's Royal Theatre in London.

I LOVED IT.

I have been listening to this sound track on repeat all week, I have been so invested in this story, I just had to cross over it. So this is a crossover of the musical, not the movie, very important distinction because the musical is different, and better

Dream is going to be left gender ambiguous here, so if you want them to be a he like regular Dream you can, but if you want them to be a she like Christine then you can!

Also Cross' scar is only present for some of these drawings, because I decided he gets it from broken glass coming off the falling chandelier.

The flower ran.

He ran, and he ran and he ran.

Robes flowed behind him as his feet beat the path, catching and ripping on rocks and jagged stones. Gnarled and dead tree routs hung above his head like rotten chandler's, each begging for a touch of life. Time he did not have.

It's hard to say how long the flower ran, crossing over the climate at fast as he could possibly go.

One river burned his bare feet, the next plunged his bones into water colder than ice, still, it didn't slow him long. This landscape was unforgiving and never-ending, no cavern wall was ever in view, but there had to be one eventually. This place had to have an exit. 

He'd heard stories of people escaping the place, and how hard it was to reach the borders of the kingdom, and this fueled his determination. 

The ground was cold now, a grey sharp grass was under his feet, the feeling of it sending memories of his home to the forefront of his mind. He wouldn't let the false plants fool him, there was not a drop of life in any leaf.

Dead.

He hated it here.
