I always say the "Nope. Nope! No no no no no" line was my fav but my actual fav The Librarians line is "You think you're Death? When i say i want found family tropes i dont mean "a few people reluctantly end up liking the people theyre stuck with" or "we call each other family but ten years later we dont talk because once these two started dating the drama tore us all apart" i mean "what do you mean you dont have a dad! well guess i have to be your dad now lets go shopping for your new room and meet up with my friends later"

Im a little surprised Naked and Afraid AUs arent a thing. Basically itd be your OTP who after first meeting each other while naked have to learn to trust and rely on each other in a very stressful and high stakes situation for the next 21 days alone in a random spot on the globe, most likley are forced to cuddle for warmth during the nights, and then come out of it with a connection theyve never had with anyone else. Like its perfect for rivals or your fav enemies-to-lovers ship but also works for your ships where they become instant friends. Naked and Afraid also has group challanges so you have a fav team? Did they have trouble getting along in the begining or the middle? That happens all the time on this show. There was actually a pair that completed a normal 21 day challange and ended up together in the group challange and cried when they saw each other again. These are situations i know a lot of fic readers want to read

The Librarians!AU

The biggest issue in this AU is that the all Paladins are both brain and brawn so you could argue either side

Librarian!Matt and Guardian!Shiro LITs!Pidge and Hunk GIT!Keith and Lance Caretaker(Jenkins)!Coran Allura as the people in the mirror King Arthur!King Alfor

  • Matt and Shiro go to dad Holt for help on a case and there’s a accident/ambush
  • Shiro wakes up from a coma a year or 2 later without a arm or memory
  • Keith finds him and breaks him out of the hospital a month later (Shiro’s memories have started to return)
  • They have to track down the kids for whatever reason (the Library needs a new Librarian it’s gone too long without one?)
  • Pidge is the first one they find and “he” lives really close to the library (she and her Mom went into hiding after Sam and Matt never came home. She was worried someone would recognize her since she moved close to the Library to search for them so she’s hiding as a boy)
  • It’s pretty clear Shiro has memory issues when they show up and he keeps going “you seem familiar” but Pidge doesn’t tell him she’s Katie bc she doesn’t know if she can trust him or Keith bc his head is so scrambled he could be brainwashed for all she knows
  • Shes almost finished packing when her neighbors show up
  • Her neighbors are college kids Lance and Hunk
  • They’re here to bother her or get something (flour?)
  • Shiro, Keith, and Pidge are on a time crunch but Lance and/or Hunk are taking their sweet time
  • Keith and Shiro are eventually like “we gotta move it” and try to get themselves and Pidge through the door but then Lance is all like “wait a second I know you!” Then tries to fight Keith right there bc he did something a long time ago by accidentally shoving/bumping into Lance when he first began his world journey to find Shiro (before he had never left Oklahoma Texas)
  • Keith gets fed up bc they have to go NOW and pulls a knife out or puts a hand on his gun and Lance and Hunk freak out
  • They have to run out after that little display (Shiro gives him the talk on the way to the Library)
  • Hunk and Lance decide they have to go after them to save Pidge
  • They only make it into the Library bc Hunk was like #5 on the list
  • Cue being wowed
  • Something happens, they all have to team up for like a week and then it just stays that way
  • Coran makes Shiro his arm after that with robotics and magic

Finally finished my concepts for Librarians!AU Allura. She doesnt fit perfectly in the AU (none of them do) but right now i have her as King Alfor’s daughter, with Alfor taking the place of King Arthur, who froze Allura in a painting in order to save her. Coran (he’s Jenkins) was frozen too but he was released by another Librarian before Allura was. The Alteans are all part Fae, which gives them LOTR elf like features such as pointed ears, magic, and long life.
